So for the first time ever I played a new character through ME1 and imported to 2. Alot more fun than starting a default ME2 game.

In regards to Sovereign, is it explained how he escaped Dark Space? Was he not there to begin with?

He's the Reaper none of the other Reapers liked, so they left him in the galaxy to watch grass, err, sentient life grow while they partied out in Dark Space.

That's why he's so talkative. Nobody's wanted to talk to him for 50,000 years.

The dark space isn't a prison, it's just really far away.

Sovereign stayed behind after they killed the Protheans to prepare for the next genocide.

With as much work as "amateurs" put into their cosplay efforts, its kinda disappointing in the heavy use of photoshop to complete the costume. Anyone else notice the omnitool switch hands? Or maybe she just ambidextrous, being genetically perfect and all.

I should have been more clear. I was talking about the photoshopped on honeycomb pattern and only mentioned the omnitool because it magically switched hands. I am quite aware that you cant make one in real life.

Someone get the photoshop and give me an ARIA! Seriously though, I admire this team's dedication.

Back on topic, I look forward to getting back to seattle and continuing my infiltrator, but I dread 3 coming out because i don't want this to end. Are there any rumors of spinoffs?

edit: reading ME wiki about classes and I am conflicted on which I want to roll with so I can have Sakura Shepard hadoken the collectors into oblivion.

Back when ME2 came out, they said there would be more Mass Effect games after ME3. The trilogy is just Shepard's story - after it's over, they'll keep using the universe.

I haven't scene any kind of announcement on Bioware's site, but there are four new screenshots on their site. All of them are from the "Lair of the Shadow Broker" DLC, if anyone is interested in seeing them.

Edit: Bioware's Twitter feed says that "Lair of the Shadow Broker" will be released September 7th, and will cost 800 Microsoft points.

Not only is this an excellent adventure through Illium and the shadowbroker's secret lair, this new DLC will add the Shadow Broker intel center, new research, and five new achievements – and give fans from Mass Effect 1 the chance to continue a relationship with Liara.
