    I love Colossi so much.

Not only are they brutal against nearly every ground unit, but the way that biological units fizzle and burst into flames is just spectacular. Especially Nydus Worms and Ultralisk.

I love them but they are fragile. They naturally hang at the back of your line when everyone fans out, but if your opponent can bring anything in to attack from the rear, they're often toast. They rule for dispatching large groups of marines, though.

This happened in my 2nd match tonight. Terran tries to hot-drop marines into my mineral line on a close map. Almost gets me the first time. The 3rd time? I have colossi. Fizzlefizzle.

I too would like to know this proper roach micro

Every time a couple zealots kill all my zerglings I am always surprised

Why? Zealots kill zerglings with 3 swings. If they have +1 weapons, the lings go down in 2. Its like slicing through warm butter.

Now roaches.... they're a bit more hardy.

Kind of surprised that he didn't have some vikings with his marines by the third drop, but maybe he didn't scout your colossus.

    Ok wow.

Just had a PvT with me a Protoss.

The Terran just turtles. Total turtle (Planetary Fortress, sieged tanks at his mineral line, missile turrets the works) going for Battlecruisers. But at that point he's pretty much just telegraphed his intentions so much the only way he could have made it more obvious is if he came into my room and whispered it hot and heavy into my own ears.

So he eventually rolls out with about 12-15 'cruisers supported by 2 dozen or so Vikings, expecting me to attack with the VR's and mothership I'd been harassing with (WALLS OF MISSILE TURRETS!). Except he doesn't see VR's. He sees a wall of my own. And let me tell you; Stalkers are my favourite unit in SC2 for a reason. At this point, he must have shat himself IRL because he doesn't attack for the rest of the game. ALL turtle.

I'm trying to bait him verbally, whilst whittling him down. Victory is mine for sure, but it'd take a while.

And what happens? Fucking server downtime. I thought that only happened in WoW?

I spend the rest of the 15 minutes talking shit. Not a single word from him.

Guess he knew all along huh? Does this count as a loss?

I'm fairly certain mass-voidray would cmopletely obliterate a similarly costing BC fleet.

True, except that Yamato one-shots rays.

Void rays with upgrade are fast enough where they don't have to engage BCs. If the BCs attack your base, charge off of one of your own buildings before engaging them

Except none of this wouldn't have happened, he had 20+ Vikings with them, remember? Fortunately he was obviously too stupid/poor to adapt to my Stalkers, which is the BEST UNIT IN THE GAAAAAME! 8-)

I wasn't commenting on your specific situation, merely on void rays vs BCs in general :P

i'm a big fan of speedlots, upgraded to +3 attack. They're so damn cheap, if you get a pylon close enough, you can just continuously send zealots to their doom, and they will eventually break the wall.

trying to adapt to more stalkers, just because i'm usually shit out of luck when a Terran goes air/mech. Still learning blink, and its uses. fun times to blink up into mid-base when you have an observer spotting for you.

I just started playing SC2, and it is my first Multiplayer RTS. While I did win the match ( thanks to reading build guides before hand ) I am looking for any help on my game ( I am zerg ).

I fell in love with Stalkers way back when they released those first few battle reports before beta. Blink blew my mind then and still does when used well.<3

I've said before I thought Stalkers were the best individual unit in the game, and it's a statement I stand by. There isn't much stalkers can't do with upgrades.

Oh there are definitely counters, tanks among them. But I consider it one of the best units (if not the best, as I've said) in the game, because of it's design and strength curve. It's well designed, has a great micro tool, and is useful at pretty much any point in the game.

Man, Infestors versus Mass Zealots and Void Rays is awesome. Zealots are much easier to deal with then they can't move.

    @GnomeTank
There's a couple threads in the Battle.net SC2 forums regarding whether the n52te and macros are allowable.
The 'safe' answer at present is the n52te is fine, as is any gaming peripheral that behaves as a USB HID keyboard (ie Logitech G13 would be fine, too). Regarding Macros, as long as it obeys the general Blizzard philosophy of "one press, one action" you're fine.. no scripts that issue multiple commands..
