shockingly i was able to play the word CUNT againt a random opponent. i was expecting it to deny me, but it's the only word possible for me to play at that moment. much maniacal giggling was had.
Last night in a game against a PAer (Lord Yod, I think), my opponent played "dike." I had a few options for my next move, but couldn't resist following it up with "wop." I'm easily amused.

I was deeply disappointed that the game would not allow me to play ASSFIRE after reading the last few posts.

God I love this fucking game. Personally I feel you shouldn't be using any sort of scrabble wordmaking website but if you fudge some some short words (Like "Te" or some ridiculous ones) and they work no foul.
I just crushed my girlfriend at this by playing a 114 point word, Bunjie, which neither the firefox dictionary, nor the official scrabble dictionary contains. I'm happy Wordfeud supports my inability to spell.

The dictionary for this thing is so fucking random sometimes, it drives me crazy. TE? well, ok I guess. MIZ? I feel dirty for even trying it, even moreso for it working. But ZEN? Nope, we can't have that. ZEP? Sure. No ZEN though, that would just be silly.

I "Gabe" words in this game, I'll admit it. This thing has a funky dictionary and will let you play acronyms and just plain weirdness. I had a random player use "jiz" and I played "zin." Cojoethelawyer played BAC after it let me play ARF. It's kinda fun for me, seeing what the dictionary allows, especially for those desperate "oh god, why don't I have any vowels" moments.

How come some games end when you still have tiles and some don't? Game is inconsistent at time (but I still love it!)
The game ends whenever one player uses their last tile. So if your opponent "goes out" the game is over. Also, you either lose the point value of all the tiles you have left unplayed, or your opponent gains the point value. Either way, when you're both down to 7 or less tiles you want to either go out first (usually), or at least play and high value tiles like a Q or Z if at all possible.

Randoms using anagrammers/word-builders have been fairly amusing lately - they have a distinct tendency to play seemingly amazing words, but with only some sense of how to maximize points and no sense whatsoever of the need to avoid setting their opponent up for big points.
I had Coltaine play "tittups" against me. I spent the following 10 minutes visualizing how such a feat could be accomplished. It seems that in almost every game I play, someone plays "tit" or some word related to tits.

So the vis probably consumed a DW/DL/TW/TL to get the 18 points. Adding the e only adds the pure letter score of the word.
