The Walking Dead Vol 1 Compendium (Huge one, first 48 issues) is apparently out of stock/beyond on Amazon.com, and so I am now wondering where else I can get it, as I usually go to Amazon.com for book purchases.
Thanks

Most Barnes & Noble and Borders that I've been to have it in stock (although not in stock on their website). Do you have something against the real world?

I was looking at that but passed on it. That thick and softback makes me think that binding will go to shit pretty quickly.

Yeah, I got it and the binding is already a bit worn after reading through it once. I imagine by 4-5 reads it'll be losing pages. I don't think they could make glue strong enough to keep all of them in there forever.

Also, the end of the issue that the compendium ends on is in a rather unfortunate place, you should probably get more on the way once you get halfway through the book or you'll be stuck in the

    Really?
I can get the first three "Books" for 70 bucks on Amazon...and they have books 4,5, and 6 is in the works, is it worth it getting it that way instead?

I have the first five Hardcovers (2 trade paperbacks worth of issues apiece) and they've held up quite well to personal reading and being shared with friends, so I can speak highly of those.
