So, machine running WinXP has found the mouse I plugged into it. Drivers installed. Mouse works perfectly. Like a dream. It performs up to every expectation one would have for a mouse.

Anyone know how to get this computer to shut up about the damned mouse? I tried uninstall/reinstall and that didn't help. Erm... Went into device manager and uninstalled it from there. Reinstalled... same business.
