Mustang, if you don't turn that shit into a comic of some sort I'm going to be severally disappointed.
Prepare for disappointment! If I was younger and single I would seriously consider doing a comic, but I really just don't have the time for that kind of commitment these days.

Would've liked to have spent more time on this but it'll havta do for now. It looked way cooler without the black lines but I just didn't have the time to fully render it in that fashion.
At least I finished it though eh? Oh, and its a sandwormdragon by the way.

If that's the case, do you have an earlier/alternative version of the file (from before you added the black lines or whatever)? It looks great right now, but I want to see what you thought looked better.
Naw I thought about doing that but then I just saved this image as a jpeg so I can't go back to my layers anymore. I used the paint bucket quite a bit so when I hid the lines it looked weird to have nothing where the black was, but it seemed like if I trashed the lines and spent a lot of time rendering it could've been better is all.
You know, adam, I was thinking, "Man, adam's art reminds me of that awesome Flaming Lips album cover" and I realized that's because I was remembering your contest entry for Yoshimi.
Love this challenge idea. Hate deadlines. Love everyone's entries so far.
Trusting the challenge thread's deadline to be exact is like trusting that a Panda wont... Do something weird.
Don't take the deadline too seriously, you can still work on it if you want to, never know when the poll is gonna strike!
Anywhooo
Here's my entry.
It's a dragon riding reconnaissance guy from a fantasy-retro-scifi universe I'm working on atm.
Not completely satisfied though, the guy's lines are a bit irregular in relation to the rest of the picture as are his colors. But it's good enough I guess.
I always thought turtles would be a cool basis for a dragon, but I've never seen it done.
The Dragon Turtle is a classical east asian sea monster... tons of ancient art depicting such a beast. Plus, if you'd played Dungeons & Dragons it's a monster that has been around since 1st Edition AD&D.

Oops, yeah I guess he does. I'll have to fix that. I was just trying to go for "no sharp points" kind of thing. Thanks for the heads up.

also Vargas, is that SketchbookPro?
@ m3nace/Thane - Heh... yeah, I tend to draw dragons with a lot of bony protrusions.
@ Tam - Nope, it's just good ol' Photoshop

I vote for me.
Voting has closed, I win.
Next challenge: Design a childhood toy for a jerkface from history. (Stalin, Brutus, Nero, Barabbus etc)
Seriously though, whoever wins this should use my idea because I want you to.
Think about it. Toddler Stalin playing with toys? Tam hands down.
Why would you change it?

I present to you Chimpdragon. I could really spend more time with him, but today's the day.

Not sure If I'll get colors to this before the deadline or not, so here's my WIP/Entry

That being said... yours is great given that you conjured that up without prior inspiration!
(Spoilered in case of too huge)
Can't wait for the next challenge
