    Just got back this week from Boston, where I spent a week. Was lots of fun

    My dad lives about an hour away from Ceder Point. Been a bunch of times.

    I still like the old wooden coasters, even if they do beat you up.

    Cedar Point was the highlight of summers in middle and high school, drive down and have a blast for the weekend, though I've heard it's really gone downhill in the past few years

    I'm going to PAX for vacation, and then hopefully BeerPAX in October!

    I went to disneyland and california adventure last weekend

    we got in the giant ferris wheel at CA with two little girls and they were screaming like crazy the whole time

    it was great

    then the tower of terror and the river rapids ride both broke down

    not great

    overall: theme parks are still awesome

    I can't speak for all of Cedar Point's locations, but King's Island is a sad soulless place.

    I live 40 minutes from Cedar Point.

    But I get motion sick so I've only been there like 5 times.

    most people around here go like 5 times a summer.

    Really though the best time to go to Cedar Point is in mid September on a weekday when the temperature is nice enough to stay there all day and also all the kids are in school.

    No vacation for me, no time
    thinking that when my contract is over I would like to finally cross the ocean, but my problem is is that I have nobody to go with and don't want to travel alone. I want to go to Italy really bad.

    it is not unlikely that bombs and i would watch documentaries/movies about bombs, though

    yesterday we watched something about north korea, and we also watched a piece about "operation babylift" during the vietnam war
