We just got back to our hotel room now, but muchos thanks to Gene Parmesan for organizing this awesome little pre-event! Met a good group of gamers, and tried out some really fun new games. We were the group in the corner of three Canadians who played Citadel and then Red November, and I'd like to add that we even survived Red November!
An enjoyable event to be sure, looking into whether we'll also play on Sunday, but we'll see everyone I'm sure at the con tomorrow!
Got back here too, and super thanks to Parmesan for bringing over the games. Got together with a large group and played arkham asylum for 3.5 hrs. Hopefully we'll meet back up on Sunday for more board gaming!
Played some Dominion with a few guys from Vancouver, thanks for schooling us.
Went over to the lounge, saw a game of Arkham Horror, said hi, I'm a fan. The person who was acting as a moderator said he had to go, and 6 of the 8 players were new folks.
Only at PAX could a stranger just get thrust into a 'run this game' for us, everyone have a good time, no hard feelings, and keep Arkham safe for now.
Glad to keep things easy on you Arkahm players, remember though that the game's usually a lot harder than this, the desks were in your favor.

Thanks to everyone for a great game of Arkham Mild Dread. Apparently mad writings and eldritch beasts from beyond are no match for a calm and collected spell-slinging psychiatrist who packs heat.
Now I need to try these zombie dice I've been hearing so many good things about.

Speak for yourself. I was yellow and I fell underwater while drunk and drowned.

Well I'm going to the PAX after-party thing, but I might be able to make it afterwards. Not sure I'll stay there all three hours. How long is the encore gonna last?
Hmm I think I saw you gene. I tried calling you but I think you didn't notice me and it looked like you already had a group so I gave up. Sorry you didn't get a chance to try it.
I just wanted to post and say thank you very much to all those who participated/brought games and especially Mr. Parmesan for organizing the whole thing.
I also wanted to apologize for not being able to game on Friday (Or was it Saturday?) whichever day you sent a text.
Mr. Parmesan, thanks for making this happen - me and mah friends had a great time on Thursday eve. and were able to get our game on that much earlier thanks to this gathering.
Also, thanks to the fellow who brought Cartagena and Zombie Dominion (who printed, cut, sleeved, and backed every single card to make a playable game set) and your lovely lady companion who helped us through the rules on these games. Hope to get an email from you and connect for BBQ & board games at some point.
Yeah it was a lot of fun, thanks for putting this together! I definitely had a great time playing some new games and meeting some new people. Especially fun was Dominion and BSG .

It was easy, just send the word out and everyone came. Next year if everyone's cool with me organizing this again I'll have a few systems set up for people LFG and I'll scout more space.

Dang. See you next year I suppose.
I had a great time at both the Pre and Post parties. Met alot of cool people , played alot of neat games and started and ended PAX in style. I'll see you guys next year!

Still, for anyone in the Seattle area, I am looking to get together (or join) a semi-regular board gaming group.
