Vasir "calling me out" on working with Cerberus OH NO. I don't really get this. I mean, am I working with Cerberus? Sometimes it's not so clear, does "them throwing resources at me as I do whatever I want and regularly tell them to piss off because I'm the Paragon I'M THE HERO" really count as working with them?
Because the way I see it, it's more that I'm too busy to fuck their shit up and they need me too much to not throw resources at me.

Look at it from the outside. You're flying a Cerberus ship, with Cerberus higher ups on board, communicating with the head of Cerberus, and Cerberus cleans up your messes. Sure looks like you work for Cerberus to me.
Basically an "expert" on Fox who had never played or seen the game claimed it was a fully interactive sex simulator marketed to children, and then a conservative columnist claimed it let you sodomize anyone, anywhere. It was a brief flare of nonsense so ridiculous that Jack Thompson said the critics were off their rockers.
Garrus has a sister!? And his mother is sick and he's sending money to help? Whaaat why didn't you tell me, buddy?
More importantly, why didn't you tell me two years ago, when I had literally a million dollars and nothing to do with it?
And if it happened after I died, where did all my money go? Let's have a DLC tracking that down.
When I got my Shepard to max level in Mass Effect 1 I had maxed out the money and the omni-gel in the game. I've always been under the assumption that if your a spacer and still have a parent then your mom is painfully rich and in the other scenarios they probably donated it to Citadel rebuilding funds or Cerberus jacked it so they could order a new run of pre-fitted coffins.
On that note joining Cerberus must be all spy games and action during the recruitment but then it falls flat when they hand out your equiptment, "Here's your uniform, pistol, and coffin. You'll need one of them eventually".

I would agree with this sentiment were it not for the fact that we're talking about
One of the Shadow Brokers highest up operatives. She would know enough to know the logos are irrelevant.

Well, Shepard might not think she's working for Cerberus (depending on your character), but everyone else sure as shit views it as Shepard working for Cerberus. I mean, if you really get down to it, Saren probably didn't see himself working for Sovereign, he saw it as working with Sovereign to guarantee the survival of organic life, even if it's as organic/machine hybrid creatures.

Vasir versus Shepard. Given her Shadow Broker operative status, she would know better. Other people (like the Alliance, who's perceptions are justifiable) are not the topic here.
Speaking of which can I repaint the Normany SR 2 and get that damn Cerberus logo off yet? Can I get a SHEPARD symbol?

Well, why would Vasir know better than anyone else? Just because she's working for the Shadow Broker doesn't mean that the Shadow Broker gives her unrestricted access to his intel.
edit:
Hell, in fact it's in the Shadow Broker's best interest to have everyone, including Vasir, thinking that Shepard does work for Cerberus. She might be hesitant about taking out a Spectre, but a turncoat working for terrorists? Her trigger finger was probably itching the whole time.

Unless Liara happens to very quickly make Vasir look bad then Shepard's name is probably mud in the eyes of the Council.
As far as they know your still working for Cerberus, and then you show up on Illium and kill one of their Spectres, and you had the misfortune of picking one that has shown up in the news and seems to have a good reputation in the media. The Council is going to think your some kind of Spectre destroying Bogeyman, first Nihlus, then you out their favorite Saren and blow him up, and now you go out and off a Spectre in the limelight. And in true Commander Shepard tradition you neglected to keep you omni-tool recording so you don't sound and look insane, I swear they need to just glue a video camera to Shepard's helmet to prove all the crazy stuff she says is real.
On the other hand, I'd love to see the alternate universe in which
you play as a hard edge spectre who does whatever it takes to protect the galaxy. One day you get a tip from the amoral informant you have a tenuous relationship with: we've found the leader of Cerberus, the human supremacist terrorist group responsible for so many atrocities against our species and others. Interested?
Only one catch. That new spectre. Just whose side are they on, anyway?
Coming this fall, Blasto returns in: THE SORRY ASARI!
But on the serious, I was annoyed there wasn't a paragon response there. The neutral response was basically "so?" There should have been a "uh, yeah, but I stop them when they do bad shit whenever I can and our relationship is temporary, and I still have misgivings. What's your excuse?"
My suitemate's little sister (she goes to university with us) is constantly telling me about how she wants to play ME2 just so she can bang Garrus.
Uh, pics plz? I can totally photoshop Garrus into em...
I'm relatively certain her brother would actually murder me in my sleep.
Are you sure? Maybe he'd get off on it too...
Lemme ask you this: Does she have flexibility?
I wouldn't know.

There are points on the spectrum besides "oblivious" and "full unrestricted access" is what I'm getting at here. Where exactly the character in question would fall is pure supposition on both our parts, but I hardly feel it's unreasonable to say she would be well informed given her affiliations.
Oh and I almost forgot the one part about the DLC that kinda worried me
The talk of Prothean plans with Liara. Sounded like they're setting up some kind of Prothean MacGuffin.
I really hope in ME3 they do something like having Council turn on Shepard. Having an awesome Spectre constantly hunting you and actually fucking up your plans would be sweet. Like what I think the original plan for Legion was, I was looking forward to that and was sad that it didn't make it in.

Yeah, that seemed a clear call for "more Prothean stuff inbound!" Maybe it's going to turn out they were researching the Leviathan as well. So long as the secret weapon to defeating the reapers doesn't make me facepalm and is told well, I'll be alright with it. I mean, I'm not expecting to be like "whoah! this is some Blue Angels narrative shit!", and it's better to set it up now than halfway through ME3, right?
Del, there's so much good stuff in SB we can hardly remember all of it at any given time. :P
Although aside from the always excellent Mordin humor, learning that they iced a bunch of female krogans in their genophage check was interesting re:Maelon's breakdown.

Well, the Citadel trap thing seems to have been thwarted, and the Collectors foiled. So unless ME3 is set 10000 years in the future with you playing Ghola-Shepard #284, then it seems likely that Bioware will cook up something to do with the Protheans (or their predecessors?) so we don't have to wait for the Reapers to slowly drift into the galaxy.

I don't know why anyone would be surprised at that happening, though.
I mean we all saw the size of that reaper fleet - swarm is more of an apt description. It was huge. I'm sure there will be some wicked space battles between them and the allies you've made/groomed, but ultimately I don't see how they're going to ultimately defeat them without a deus ex machina. Shepard and his team will probably track it down and activate it right in the nick of time.
But who knows? Anything could happen. I just wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if the above is the solution.

There's going to be a contest unveiled on the Bioware site in a few months, to see if Mordin or Thane survives until ME3 - one or the other! The contest is: you have to play ME2 with online reporting enabled, and every 10 palladium you mine counts as a vote for Thane, every 1000 eezo a vote for Mordin.
Aaah. I managed to download the damn dlc and played it last night. It was a run where I
cheated on Liara with Ms Lawson. I was too drunk to hit the damn paragon interrupts (is it me or were they way too short to hit?) so I probably missed half the good dialogue (and I had full renegade points but still couldn't get one of the last renegade options - what gives?), but I enjoyed the fights. The vanguard fight was refreshing and the yahg was actually surprising in that I died once.
It is amazing that despite the futuristic technology and advancements, video and audio quality recordings are shit. Probably worse than they are right now.

You need full renegade and little to no paragon for those interrupts. It's not about max, it's about how much out of a game-wide maximum you have.

I play way too mixed characters to reasonably expect to get that one.
I'm pretty comfortable with the renegade option as is though
