I'm trying to install the latest nvidia drivers (93.71) but for some reason when I run the setup for it, it uninstalled my current drivers, but doesnt install the new drivers, rendering my videocard fairly useless
Any ideas? Or a link to a site that has the older drivers?
Just found the 91.31 drivers, and they seem to work, I'm tempted to try and force it to the setup directory to update to 93.71, but the one I have is updated enough to try out Genesis Rising beta.
Still somewhat curious on what the hell is going on with that install, Nvidias drivers/driver installation is usually pretty slick.
Edit - Good suggestion, but it gives an access denied message when I try to force it to copy the drivers from that directory. The same process does work for the older set of drivers. Fucking strange.
Per Nvidia's instructions, you should go to add/remove programs and uninstall your current nvidia drivers FIRST, then reboot, and install the new ones. I've found occasionally that NOT doing the first step mangles things.

You can manually tell your video driver to install from A Specific Location and direct it to that folder.
