Castlevania: Lords of Shadow looks like loads of fun, even if it doesn't look like a proper Castlevania. That's a day one for me.
Enslaved looks nice enough, and Heavenly Sword was fun enough even if not worth $60.
I've never even heard of Gothic 1-3.
Two Worlds 2? Is there a reason people are looking forward to this?
Medal of Honor, I'd run through once on its campaign, if it were good. Don't care about multiplayer so this is a no-go.
Fallout: New Vegas...I really liked Fallout 3, like a whole bunch, but Obsidian has yet to prove to me that they can make a game that isn't completely and utterly broken. I'm cautiously pessimistic but I'd more than welcome the news if it turned out to be good.
Vanquish, from the demo, is very, very well-made. It's just not my bag, personally.
Fable and Fable II were utterly horrid affairs, can't say I have faith in III.
Force Unleashed 2...I don't know. It sounds like they've learned a lot from their negative feedback. Guess I'll see when some reviews and impressions from PAers roll around.
Rock Band 3 is on course to be the Greatest Game Ever Made.
Comic Jumper, I'm excited for this, but I don't really count XBLA/PSN games as being part of the "holiday season" in the sense that I would retail games.

I wouldn't worry too much about that. From the sound of it, they've been working pretty close with Beth. So, I'm hoping that they managed to add in the good parts of both companies, while minimizing the not so good parts.

Of that list, Rock Band 3 is the only one I'm getting for sure. I might grab Castlevania if it turns out to be good.
Fallout: NV I don't know, I just have no interest in it. I liked Fallout 3, but I got kind of sick of it after awhile. This game seems to be pretty much "more of the same" only "zomg slot machines!"

Well. As undeserving of their praise that I find Obsidian to be as a company, they can do dialogue/story pretty well.
I'm a little pessimistic about Enslaved because the company behind it hasn't done anything that hasn't had serious flaws, plus they're spending bales of money on a game after they spent bales of money on Heavenly Sword and just got meh. I'm not sure they learned anything from the experience, considering they're doing heavy mo-cap with Andy Serkis again.
Willeths played the first several hours of Enslaved, and this is him impressions.
Lewie no speak English well.

I mean...I'm not as hard on Heavenly Sword as others.
My main complaint with the game is that it was too short. Had it not been trumped up as the messiah that would save the PS3 I think it would have been better received.

I honestly didn't play it, but I've heard it was indeed quite short. I would hope at least they took that criticism to heart this time (and honestly I can sort of understand that - they were probably getting nagged by Sony to release the damn thing so they could have a "killer app" or whatever)
(and I'll admit of the PS3's launch titles, it's the only one that even looked halfway interesting to me, at least before the reviews... not enough to blow freaking $500 on that thing, but enough to consider it were other good games made available)

And that's what makes me less interested in it. Obsidian always makes well plotted games, but trying their feet to the disaster which is the gambyro engine will probably end up turning out even worse than than them trying to wrangle UE3
I don't know if it is. Originally the story was that there would not be any RE games for a couple of years at least (if ever) and when they eventually made another game it would be a reboot.
Then Capcom saw all the money RE5 made and decided to start working on the next RE game. Also I believe that the guy who was quoted as saying it would be a reboot no longer works at Capcom.

Please Nintendo, release this here so I don't have to import it.
Hotel Dusk: Room 215 was an extremely impressive take on traditional adventure games, yet CiNG has progressed considerably since its release, taking the experience gained from the Another Code: R and AGAIN projects to help develop Last Window: The Secret of Cape West into not only one of the exemplary products in the genre, but one of the most impressive games on the DS overall. Last Window’s mix of mystery tale and light-hearted puzzles can be enjoyed all sectors of the market and is a fitting finale from the now defunct CiNG.
What's there left to reveal in Resident Evil? That the boulder Chris punched the fuck out of in RE5 was the original creator of the T-virus?
Off the top of my head:
The fates of Sheri (girl from RE2), Barry (original), Rebecca Chambers(RE0 and the original), Billy Coen (RE0), the two additional Nemesis units, and Umbrella's European branch are all unknown.
EDIT: Oh, and the Wesker children bullshit from RE5 is probably going somewhere.
As far as I remember, it's made pretty clear that Albert is the only one of those that have survived.
So if Nintendo isnt showing the 3DS at TGS then when are we going to hear more about it? Are there any more big shows coming up or are they just going to do thier own thing whenever they feel like it?

Wait, where did them not showing it come from? Especially since they're announcing the date there
I know quite a few people in this thread will be happy about this, myself included:
A pair of online sources suggest that Team Ico's critically-acclaimed PS2 games, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, will be re-released as a bundled PlayStation 3 retail collection early next year.
A listing on Wal-mart.com, which surfaced on the site Saturday, shows "ICO / Shadow of the Colossus (PS3)" available for pre-order at $39.82. The site lists a planned release of April 1st, 2011 for the collection.
Eurogamer today cites unnamed "industry sources" in reporting the British version of the rumored collection will cost £24.99 and hit stores in March or April of next year.
The Eurogamer report also suggests the game will be available for UK pre-order in "the next few days." This timing points to a potential formal announcement for the game at the Tokyo Game Show, which takes place September 16th through 19th.
This is not the first time a PS3 re-release for these two games has been suggested. Team Ico head Fumito Ueda said in multiple interviews surrounding last year's Tokyo Game Show that he would be open to re-releases that would "provide the games to other platforms to reach more users."
More recently, a presentation by Ueda at the CESA Developers Conference on September 1st showed images from Ico with much sharper textures and a wider aspect ratio than the original PS2 release, suggesting an HD-capable version may be in the works.
Sony released HD-enhanced versions the two PS2 God of War games in the PS3's God of War Collection last November. The game sold 650,000 copies in the U.S. through March of this year, before the release of God of War III pushed it off the monthly top 20 sellers.
Team Ico's latest project, The Last Guardian, hasn't been seen since E3 2009, when an four-and-a-half-minute trailer of the game was shown at Sony's pre-show press conference.

Well, that's the first day of the fiscal year
Might have something to do with that.

Oh I guess I misread. IGN says Nintendo typically dosent attend there. But if they are confirmed to make a revelation I would be happy.

They're not going to TGS, but they're having their own conference (like usual) at the end of september, specifically the 29th.

If that date is correct, I would think The Last Guardian will release before mid-summer 2011.

Not bad at all for something that took 7 weeks of porting.

Same here.
Doesn't bode well for the company that is expecting GTA-like levels of success for the game.

I found it to be an okay game too.
I don't think higher production values would have made it more fun though.

Something Beth has never really been good at.

I bought if from the Xbox Originals service via Xbox Live years ago, almost day and date that it dropped.
But since I only had 20GB of HDD to pass around I had to make way for other stuff not long afterwards.
But I've got a 250GB 360 on its way to me now. Anxious to re-download all the XBO stuff that I bought in addition to buying some new stuff.
Also anxious to play the damn thing again. (I only got roughly 15% of the way through)

Totally dude.
Although the lack of any instruments / band packs available to preorder here is unsettling.

Remind me, are the other PS3 collections $40?
Sly Collection in particular is a great deal, three games for $40 (with three Trophy lists! Three Platinums! Great for Trophy whores)
Hoping the date is true, the actual collection is pretty much all but officially confirmed

Man, those were always interesting. For those that don't know, back in the 90s Nintendo had their own freaking trade show.
Went all the way up to 2001
It was either 2000 or 2001 where they showed that boss trailer of Link fighting Ganon
Then when Wind Waker pics showed up people cried foul
I remember that trailer of link fighting Ganon actually showing up on mainstream nightly news.
Why?
"NERDS EVERYWHERE DIE OF MASS ORGASM"
Not bad at all for something that took 7 weeks of porting.
I also remember that being on loop in a Toys R Us I went to.
Then I walked out of the store with a Gamecube.
Not the biggest mistake I've ever made, but I sure backed the wrong horse in that generation.
