PAX Parking

So I'm trying to figure out the best place to park. We're currently considering parking in that big park & ride behind the light rail stop by Safeco (at Royal Brougham). But that still means bussing up from there, and it's not a free ride area. I'm not so sure I want to try to ask my job to validate my parking for a day I'm not working...

Any thoughts on parking? Thanks!

And yes, we've considered public transpo (I do have an Orca card) but we don't want to be confined to busses on our way home from PAX in case we want to stop and do something else.

    Thanks, I looked for a thread on this topic, but didn't think to look in there again.

    *EDIT* I take that back... that wasn't very helpful. I already know what parking costs downtown and such. I was thinking more like parking just outside of downtown and taking a free ride bus up to the convention center or something.
