I heard a song on the radio a couple weeks ago and have been trying to figure out what it is ever since, but I have failed completely. So, I turn to you. The song is about mean mugging, more specifically about mean mugging being bad. It's kind of hip-hop, but a lot of it is just talking. The singer sounds like he has some kind of Boston/general east coast accent. I heard it on the local college station, but it was during a time that the station was on autopilot, so I couldn't call and ask.
Here's what I remember from the chorus:
"Peace on, you seem to need hugs, you seem to need love, why you gotta mean mug me?"
Does anyone have any idea what this song is? Thanks in advance.
