Doom: Because Gentleman Ghost is presumably susceptible to magic and is actually more vulnerable in hell than Doom, who has visited there many times.
Taskmaster: Because Nimrod is logical to a fault and ultimately more concerned with preserving the timestream and his ultimate goals than he is with a tourney, and both can be easily exploited by someone who has hundreds of similar situations in his perfect memory from fiction and his own crazy reality about how to beat automatons with simple sentences.
