Basically me and my friends are flying down from Canada for PAX this year. Last year we drove, and did the whirlwind three day thing of awesome geekery. This year, we've added a day before and a day after to our trip, to try and take in a little more of 'Seattle' and the West Coast.
What we're wondering is what is the bestest most awesome things on your mind that Seattle has to offer that we should check out? We've already got that we should head down to Pike Street and get a bowl of chowder, but what else shouldn't we miss?
Check out Pink Gorilla (formerly Pink Godzilla) in the Sodo on King st. for old school games and stuff. An all around cool place and there's a little import movie place and an anime/manga/game merch store in the same building. There's a big concrete troll under the aurora bridge in fremont. There's the locks in Ballard with the salmon/fish ladder and a neat little park and the Lock Spot is a great place with chowder where they film some of the dealiest catch season wrap-up shows. Bruce lee's grave. ummmmmm I dunno, stuff? Or just take a day to go to the rain forrest on the peninsula. I work in the tourism industry ^_^ But I guess it all depends on what you like.

I think the anime/manga/game shop (International Model Toys?) moved across the street next to Unicorn Crepes. The guy does amazing gundam model kits and other figurines.
This is a pic of the old location. You can see a reflection of Pink Gorilla in the window.
Uwajimaya (asian grocery store with book store) is also a fun place to visit in the International District. And maybe landmarks like the Space Needle or Gas Works Park.
Seattles late night underground tour (if you're of legal drinking age) is fantastic. Not only do you get educated, it's just kind of surreal and awesome to learn about how things ran.

Pink Gorilla also has a location in the University district on University Way (known colloquially as "The Ave") which has a nifty arcade in it. And right up the street is the Sureshot Cafe, which has analogue pinball machines and pretty good coffee. If you head up to the U-district or up Capitol Hill, I recommend taking the bus. It's pretty easy, just remember this: Pay when you leave if you're moving away from downtown, pay when you enter if you're going downtown.
Also, Pike Place Market is a must-see Seattle tourist stop.
Thanks for the suggestions so far everyone! We're a very artsy group, I personally am a playwright/director for live theatre, and so we're super in to some of the suggestions for things to see! Keep em coming!
The pinball place is called Shortys. I will be there after 430 tomorrow with co-workers. A Co-worker is having a CD Release party tomorrow at the Crocodile around the corner. But Shorty's is Awesome. Good hot dogs, good beer.
theatre eh.... you could always go check out the bums down around the fountain near pike place... some of them are pretty darn tootin theatrical. :-D All joking aside seriously.. underground tour, you HAVE to do it.

Ah, that clarification helps! I manage a small theatre facility, I wish we had something going on right now! You might enjoy these:

Oh really? I haven't done much more than drive through the U - district for a while now, had no idea they had one up there. With an arcade? Very nice. And mentioning Pike Place reminded my about golden age collectables in the market and Zanadu (comics) on 3rd.
Addtionally, If anyone will be in town early, like today, there are a couple free things that are cool to check out. There's a free art walk on the first thurdays of each month in pioneer square with wine tasting and such as well as free admission to the EMP/Sci-Fi museum from 6pm til closing. Nothing's better than free, right? And if you you want more artsy suggestions, I'd say just head to Fremont. It's a cool little neighborhood complete with a giant Lenin statue from the end of the cold war era. And a dessert place called Simply Dessert that is R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S....ehem, and my favorite Thai place (Kaosamai) and one of my favortie Sushi places (Chizo).

It's usually planned a few months in advance.
There is also a pinball bar in the belltown district.

Those are my suggestions. Woo.
Ah, that clarification helps! I manage a small theatre facility, I wish we had something going on right now! You might enjoy these:
Seattle art museum
Olympic Sculpture Park
Shakespeare in the Park (which unfortunately has just finished)
Tour of the Moore/Paramount Theatre (I want to do this too!!!)
Or you could just go walk around Capitol Hill, there's all kinds of artsy and interesting installations up there.
Someday I'll just put all of this into one list.... Have fun!
