Im starting this thread for people who need help mid-PAX. Dont use this thread for stupid shit like "Need help winning in the Omegathon" or "Cant find my pants".

Like, for instance, I for one need an SD card for my camera since A) I foolishly left home, and got all the way to Seattle without checking my camera to see if it was IN it, and Im poor as all hell.

What kinda media person would I be without having a working camera?

So, in that spirit, let us know if you need help or you're able to lend a hand.

Is it too late to reprint my confirmation? I left it at home and when I open it up it says scanned

If you can find a working printer, it's not too late to print your confirmation. A lot of people have discovered this "SCANNED" issue. It should still work.

how about i need a hug?
my bag with my tickets and my assasins badge got lost somewhere in my travels to take my med school board exam. printed out the confirmation and got my badges from mars only to get a call from my boyfriend saying he couldnt catch his airline connection, has to stay overnight in atlanta and now we wont be making the keynote or the q@a.

grumble, i think i just needed to vent somewhere

First time PAXer here and I'm going to be attending the Panels.

Where are the theatre's located?

I see their schedule table and it says:

Serpent (606 - 609)
Unicorn (611 - 613)
Wolfman Theatre (602 - 604)
Raven Theatre (3AB)

But what does that mean?

If you need to print out anything, there is a print shop a couple of blocks uphill on Pike street, and when I went by they printed out the black&white PDF from our flash drive for a nickel per page. A nickel!
There's some kind of Fedex in the convention center itself too, but I imagine they charge more than a nickel per page.

The numbers are the actually room numbers, I do believe the 600s are the top floor.

Hey there guys. I have kind of an odd favor to ask.

You see, I'm not going to be at PAX Prime. I was at PAX East back in March and I plan to go again next year, but I can't make it over to the west coast. So I've been looking arount to see what I'll be missing. And then I noticed that this company was going to be in the exhibit hall:

And I thought, "Holy Crap! That company totally stole my name!" OK, not really. But I've been using that as my user name for as long as I've been on this old series of tubes.

So I'm wondering if anybody could be me a favor and check out the booth and see if they're giving away any cool stuff, especially stuff with the company's name on it. And if they are would anyone be willing to grab something for me? I'd be willing to pay for shipping or whatever. I know there's going to be a swag trading thread later, but like I said, I won't be at PAX and so I won't have anything to trade.

And if they aren't giving out anything, just shoot me a PM saying so.

Those are room numbers. The 600's are indeed on the 6th floor, next to PC and near Console area's. Raven is on the 3rd floor, in the north lobby (NW corner of the building). Make sure you get a program (in the queue room or MT line this morning) and that will help edumacate you. Or, find where Info booth is(4th floor, top of the main escalators), we can be a wealth of information when you have a question during the show.

I bought a badge off of these forums a couple weeks ago, but USPS has failed in delivering it to me on time (tracking number says I should get it any second now, but I leave in 2 hours)

I have the confirmation email printout, and an email from the original owner saying he sold it to me. Will this be enough for me to pick up my badge later today?

A friend of mine in Oregon bought a PAX 3-day pass, and just found out (at the last minute) that he can't make it. I don't have his badge, but he forwarded me his e-mail confirmation. When viewing it, it says "Scanned", though. I was wondering if I could print it, and get another badge for the show to give to a friend who lives locally. Is there any form of proof of transference that would be needed to do this?

I was unable to get a concert wristband this morning. I have two questions:

1) Does anyone have a spare wristband they would be willing to trade? We can work something out.
2) For those who have had to wait in the standby line for previous concerts, how early would you recommend getting in line?
