Also, I've thought of some more things I'd like to see tweaked in SSF4 (but obviously will never happen):
-Change T.Hawk's Ultra 2 grab to qcfx2+3K. Also, make him able to FADC off his uppercut move to combo into it. Ryu, Adon, and others can so should he.
-Nerf Dan more. He is a joke character and should be treated as such. Make him worse so winning with him feels more gratifying.
-Cammy's LK cannon drill should be safe on block. This will help her pressure and get chip damage going, especially with her recent air nerf.
-Make characters less dependent on 1-frame links and hit confirms to be viable. For me, this mainly includes Fei-Long and Sakura
-Change the Chicken Wing and Holligan moves to qcf or qcb motions already. Sure, SSF4 is a lot more forgiving in doing these moves, but they simply don't make any sense. Tiger Knee motions need to go away forever.
-Hakan. Well, just keep it up for the poor guy.
-Juri's LK pinwheel safe on block. See Cammy.
-Makoto needs a bit more range on her grab. Maybe nerf the damage of Ultra 1 afterwords for balance sake.
-Increase the height required before activating Rufus' dive kick (same with Y&Y).

There are other ways they can fix it too. One would be to let them hold the counter for a few seconds by holding down one of the buttons used to activate it and releasing it when they are ready. So Fei Long could hold down one of his kick buttons and proceed attacking the guy and then release that kick button when he's ready to counter. It'd have to only let him hold it for a few seconds though.
Another fix would be to give them two versions of it, like how Blanka's U2 has a ground and air version. One version would work like it does now while the other version would be a throw. So basically when you see the ultra flash the opponent has to guess if they did the throw (in which case they need to hit them to stuff it) or the counter (in which case they need to avoid hitting them).

I also think the counter ultras don't matter that much. Plenty of new ultras are basically worthless.
Update in my times of availability: Probably not until some time later in the night tonight, or all day tomorrow. I get out of what I have to do at 7:30, but I also have to go pick someone up after that and who knows how long it will take. Could be anywhere from 8-10 EST before I finally get back. Sunday is completely open. Fig is pretty open as well as far as I know, so if people from Sivraj/Degami's team could PM me what looks good for them tonight/tomorrow please do so.

Even if the guess is mathematically nowhere near in your favor lol. You're happiest when you have either a 50/50, 33/33/33 or even a 75/25 situation to go crazy with. She was in Capcom Fighting All-Stars before that game got canned, so she theoretically already has a move set that would work within the SF games. I think most people want her just because she's something different. I can safely say that I really didn't care too much for the idea of more 3S characters, and the list of Alpha characters I'd like to see is pretty short. But a new character? That brings in something that I haven't played before.
I don't get why some people are clamouring for Poison. Isn't that the scantily-clad transgender? That ain't right.

Personally i would love seeing poison added, while she isnt really a new character. She has never been in a fighting game that got released before(expect that really bad FF one) and it would be cool to see how she fought.

All team battles should replace regular Ranbats for a few weeks so everyone can meet at those times and get the matches in or there's just gonna be these timing issues again and again.

I'm with Nick T on getting the team battle done tomorrow. Set a time and I'll make it, but doing the whole "sure team match in 30 minutes" thing doesn't work so great.
If your team has a time that would be best for them, Sivraj, let us know and we'll make that the official time. We should really decide on this tonight though so we're not doing the same thing tomorrow.

Ranced, since you're trying to learn Abel, what's your thought on the Abel / Dictator match up?
I don't know enough about the match up yet other than it's super tough. It reminds me of the Sagat/Bison fight strangely enough, wherein I need a knockdown to get any damage done. Abel sure isn't going to win any footsies matches.
Once the knockdown is achieved though, step kick city is a must. Gotta make Bison guess all day to win it.
Well....that sucks. Don't quite understand the point of that.
The recovery bit is fine, but the motion to do it? Eh.
I'm fine with it being a charge move if they make it a bit faster. 22 frames is kinda ass to me, we need Chun Li U1 speed if we're going to need a charge for this "punisher."

• Tiger Uppercut damage increased.
• More recovery time on his Tiger Knee.
• Standing Light Kick from Vanilla SF4 is back. It's one hit, can be Canceled into special moves, bigger hit box and it takes off roughly 40 damage.
• Light Kick Tiger Knee is more like Vanilla SF4. Some people say his Medium and Hard Tiger Knees are useless now.
• More recovery time on High Tiger Shots. His fireball game is a lot worse than it was.
• Angry Scar is now executed with a Kick button.
It's like good ideas mixed with bad ideas. I'm going to laugh if Guile beats Sagat in fireball matches. The dude can almost keep up with Gat in this game and they want to make it worse?

Fun stuff. I was testing some stuff and didn't realize your Ultra could counter an intentionally missed EX Scissors. Was amusing.
At least I got an awesome Ultra off earlier when you dropkicked.
