    I've said this before, but a mammoth Behind the Music-style documentary detailing the game's development would be a far more interesting and worthwhile product than the game itself could ever be at this point.

    To be fair, the desert level with the truck was shown in design documents that were leaked before Borderlands was ever released, and well before Gearbox was ever involved with Duke.

    Hehe, I was laughing that on the Stream, "Take all the pictures you want, but no video *points right at the Stream camera* that means you" A brief moment later they just walk through the door and there are people playing DNF with Xbox 360 controllers (I assume the consoles as well) and then... Duke getting in and out of Monster Truck that has nitrous boosters in some sort of canyon/desert map?! Huh, this is getting interesting.

    Keyboard and mouse but they are using controllers and it is the PC version she is saying...

    Edit: Hehehe... corpse punching... Duke is drawing on a white board?!?

    Because I would actually buy a game based on a dead franchise, unlike Borderlands 2.

    According to the stream, the demo units are actually the PC version - They've just hooked up 360 controllers to all the stations, instead of KBM, for some reason.

    I've never understood the absolute craving for iron sights that people have. Having to press an extra button before shooting doesn't seem like an empirical improvement to me.

    Duke Nukem Forever is running on current tech, not DOS like previously thought. The game looks amazing, with no signs of being years old.
    Allen Blum, one of the level designers from Duke Nukem 3D is still working on the game.
    The trailer for Duke Nukem Forever begins with aliens returning to Earth. They tear down a statue of Duke. They are after Earth's women.
    Duke runs across a huge three-breasted demon. In classic Duke style, he says, "I'd still hit it."
    The game has the shrink ray gun again, as well as a rail gun, tons of alien weapons, and huge enemies.

    Hell. Yes.
    A driving sequence is up next. Duke is driving through a canyon in a monster truck. Alien ships are shooting the canyons to drop boulders in his path.
    The monster truck eventually runs out of gas, and Duke has to go on foot. Luckily he has an alien sniper rifle and a pistol with a laser sight.
    Next he encounters some of the pig aliens. They are incredibly agile, more boar-like in their movements: They gallop on all fours and are brutal at close quarters. One of them drops an RPG when he's killed. This area is vast and completely open, reminiscent of Borderlands. As expected the RPG makes a big mess of the pigs -- blood is everywhere.
