Dragonfly is more about healing, if you just look at their abilities. They're true healers. Recluse is more DoT based, it's very good at killing, but fairly fragile.

Engineer is more about "Squad Support". Bastion is about deployables, and Electron is about damage.

Remember you can mix and match skills with your base class, as well as weapon. So you can very easily make a Recluse with some healing abilities.

Dread frames are more old school shooter friendly and have big hp pools. Both recon and biotech frames have great self heal from kills or damage respectively. Engineer frames can drop health/ammo pads that are extremely nice as ammo drops can be scarce.

If folks want to do BWA give a shout in army chat. I quit doing shutouts after a week or so of no takers.

Sometimes when playing this I get UT2k4 flashbacks for some reason and I keep double tapping keys to dodge

edit: also, I sent an invite to join Pax Arcadia. If anyone that can accept it gets on later, that'd be swell.

What level is that one? I need someone to run the level 18 one with me at some point.

So.. you need to run Normal Blackwater 20 times and get all the Sin impressions each time to get the above?

    Because I want that.

I am down to run a bunch of BWA with more people tonight, just hit me up on Steam (Corehealer) and I'll be there/should be on tonight sometime anyway.

One time I did that, only it was a Siegebreaker charging up his bullshit, and doing so fucked up the aim of the guy I was trying to heal, preventing him from killing the Siegebreaker and eating the full volley.

    It was counterproductive.

I miss the happy days when you could knock baddies off cliffs. Made thumping amusing when you could "sweep" the area. On the other hand it was a special level of 0-sht condition when your p3 in a Valley is having to deal with a dozen angry terror claws raining from on high.

    Edit-
@38thDoe‌ I think it's level 24. Give a shout on chat if your hunting backup though. Expect I'm not the only one going batty with "go here, kill X of Y" board missions.

That reminds me, I felt like a badass lobbing grenades from the top of a mountain I had climbed and helping out a solitary dude that was thumping way below me. I couldn't see him or the bugs but I saw their icons. I had to shoot well above where I wanted to hit, but once I had the range it was all good. Felt like some kind of weak artillery.

Curious, repulsor blast was knocking stuff to the edge. Kept seeing them fly into an invisible wall on plateau thumps and stop.

Apparently there is a bug that causes thumpers to randomly explode on deployment. Lost my P3 thumper to it a few days ago so I opened a support ticket for it, got the response back today that its a known issue... but they won't replace the thumper.

In copa(the starting town) there are army terminals that you can apply at, army name is Pax Arcadia, and then someone can approve your application the next time they log in.

Ok, whoever laid out these dredge board mission needs beaten with a dead fish... Had upwards of 5 travel points and it loves to spring a escort or defense on you at about the 3rd waypoint or so. Getting ~50k exp for missions that are taking at least 20 minutes as well with no ares or event missions spawning.

Pretty sure at that rate thumping wins in every way.

Speaking of which... sniper rifles are kind of fun at a thumping spot that spawns 90% culexes. Until a megalus spawns and you're hosed because lolnodps. And then kill yourself by being in the blast radius of Eruption Rounds and smacking yourself for a few thousand damage.

I came out of a couple thumps with like 80 shell casings and a few thousand iron though.

That didn't stop me from dropping five beans on some new slots when I got my inventory a little over half full. Still those beans were acquired from the currency exchange with no real sweat involved so yeah. Dig that currency exchange. It's going to be the way to go for things like respecs and some extra inventory.

Demons tusk second phase push complete. One more to go. Probably take a while as things are more buff and the total we need will probably be higher. First was 15k, second was 50k. Probably 100k for the third.

Get to 40 and get helping! Area is pretty damn nice.

I really wish they would increase the max ammo for Bio rifles. They burn through their entire reserve in no time. The DPS is subpar despite all that too. Also, I'd like to be able to use the awesome altfire more, but eh. It's why I'm not leveling Dragonfly despite it being otherwise fun.

Nighthawk has been solid so far. I just want a slightly faster shooting sniper rifle because god damn it would help the dps a bit. Hilarious to shoot down three Culex and then have them all explode for more... nothing (because the explosion has no radius whatsoever).

Electron has been interesting. Boomerang Shot is still good, not getting self-heals kind of sucks, since it reduces their options to just Bulwark I think. Seriously, they seem to have an issue with giving frames support tools and then saying "no, you cannot support on yourself", which leaves you with half-dead abilities solo.

I need to take Firecat back out some more too. Electron has a later perk that gives a bonus to explosions I think, wondering how much it helps the cat. Thermal cannons, like shock rails, have a delightful ability to perform as both single-target and AoE weapons, which is a huge boon.

Rhino is kind of mindless PEWPEWPEW everything all the fucking time, and then my abilities are all basically "shoot faster and harder" - Rhino's vulnerability blast, explosive rounds (lol blast lasers), turret mode, and dreadfield all lead to more firepower out the barrel. It's fun, but I'm not sure I'll stick with it since it's kind of monotonous.

Arsenal is... iffy. Shotgun is okay. Particle Beam is great, especially since you can stow it til you need the other shots. Rocket jump is fucking awful. I'd get almost as much height by just slotting the jump perk and jumping. I'll probably use Repulsor Blast and Explosive Shots with Particle Beam or something in the end, thankfully Dreadnought has amazingly useful stuff. (In part, Explosive Shots is insanely good, and all dreads should totally run it because it adds so much DPS and AoEs to boot).

Basically, I'm not yet 40 because I'm rocking other frames for kicks.

Since longer than a year and a half ago. I think the update that went to the tier system and introduced the battle lab also limited you to a single character.
