Get it so it starts on one arm, crosses your back and finishes on the other arm!
*edit* the smaller and finer tattoos are the more prone they are to losing detail over time, even without sagging or spreading. This is especially true if it's located on a limb, since you move it so much.

an artist worth a shit won't do tiny detailed work for exactly this reason
Fuck off dude. Stale has had all these diseases and told them to fuck off for a long time. He should not be alive right now but is because he is bad ass like that. You really don't know what you are talking about. Comparing yourself to him with your whiny diabetes is a bad move
I didn't know that maybe having cancer was such a big deal.
All I have been told with certainty is that Stale has diabetes as well as a number of other miscellaneous ailments.
If I'm wrong, or even if I'm right, I still feel bad for Stale though, being sick blows.
Given that I'm in my twenties now and I've been diabetic since I was an infant, I'd say that we're on pretty even footing. In the contest of illnesses I mean.
I suspect you're full of shit there, since less than 1% of cases are diagnosed in the first year. Not only is diabetes very uncommon in infants, but it's also difficult to diagnose in infants. I don't like you. At all.
I'm not defending anyone. I'm just smelling horseshit from a dude trying to act like he relates and has had it hard but is probably just blowing smoke up asses because he's that kind of dude.

That's actually what it looked like in the early nineties. It looks completely different now.
I can really recommend it, though, it's a great comic and it's okay if you can't take the art style seriously because, again, it changes over the course of the comic and the whole thing doesn't take itsel overly seriously in the first place.
so in the middle of explaining the symbolism in The Wanderer, my art history professor says that the two ridges in the middle of the painting are divining rods and proceeds to pull out two bent copper rods and demonstrates to everyone that divining rods really do work by wiggling them towards a water bottle
seriously, a 50-some-odd-year-old lady loosely holding the short legs of two bent copper rods, calling on someone to hold up a water bottle, walking towards them, suddenly stopping and pointing out how the rods swung forward vaguely in the direction of the bottle, and saying "see, it really works" is fucking surreal

Did you know that the Australian Government actually spent tax payers money to commission Uri Geller to devine for precious minerals and advise where mining companies should set up sites.
I hate the itching stage of tattoo process so much
it'th maddening
The worst bit for me is seeing the skin heal over the broad areas of solid and obsessing over wether or not it will heal solid or splotchy and ohhgodwillthatbethatlightandjesusisthatasplotch
nah, I've attended another professor's lecture, and she's pretty not crazy
talks about symbolism, movement, composition, color, subjectivity, influences, and historical ideas and relevance

In Washington state, most individual and group health plans are required to cover alternative medicine including acupuncture and naturopathy. Which really pisses me off.

Oh shit this, of course. Not just like "let myself go" but general spreading, skin sagging etc.
Maybe not then.

not really
tattoos hold up well to gaining weight and sagging and such
worst thing is a strechmark runs across it is all
now if you lose a shitload of weight, your ink is fucked

You are NOT Wilford Brimley.

If I ever end up getting a tattoo it'll be the JoJo part of that thing on my left upper arm and maybe a star tattoo in the nape of my neck.

I was, what do they call it, dumbstruck

I love you.
Just sayin.
it's why I did the design in the first place
I like the alternating sizes. Would be boring otherwise.
