Does anyone have any recommendations for a good brand of earplugs, or some other noise-blocking apparatus, for extended wearing while sleeping? I'm not really sure of what to look for, since the most common types of earplugs I've seen, have become uncomfortable after an hour or so of use. Pretty much every google hit I'm seeing also seems like it's shilling for something.
And this is for intermittent wear, so I think I can avoid the issue of a wax buildup in my ears.
I was in the air force for 4 years and I worked around jets all day. I wore hearing protection a lot, sometimes up to 8 hours at a time. Really the only comfortable option would be a foam style one, and they are all about the same for comfort and decibel rating. How close is the person snoring and how loudly? Really foamies don't block that much sound you can still carry a normal conversation with them in.

Same bed, and fairly loud as far as snoring goes.
