hey guys so my name is Katie. ive been workng on this webcomic but its just a work in progress because im always so busy. i wish i had more time (dont we all). Anyway, it's called XXbox. the two x's are for two x chromosomes because the comic focuses on girl gamers.
I thought a comic that was like a female version of penny arcade would be successful so tell me what you think!

I'm gonna take the nice guy route here and say that you should instead post this in the Artists Corner forum if you want actualy advice and criticism instead of suggestions of more dicks and wolves made of dicks

I'm going to suggest that you don't know anything about the Artists Corner.

We aren't huge fans of people signing up just to peddle their webcomics in this area though.
It is great if you joined to have discussions and post and stuff like that!
But. If you really want to improve your webcomic, and it definitely needs improvement, post it in the artists corner and be ready to take some criticism.

edit: Some really, really harsh criticism
Honestly, there's not even a lot to say about these beyond, "Learn to draw." A new thread over there wouldn't be any more useful. What the person should do instead is look at this thread, practice a lot, and post in the AC sketch thread for some general feedback. Then, in a year, make a thread.
Though I think you're right to wonder whether this is even a real account or just baiting.
To Artreus, yea i submitted the first one a while back and never got around to posting the 2nd one. i was kind of disappointed the first time because i didnt really get any feedback.
for all those people who say they disapprove, can you tell me why? or give me some tips or something
Your webcrumblic is seriously lacking in video game references. I think Master Chief should have a pikachu instead of a gun and Cloud should be dressed like Mario while world of warcraft sonic the hedgehogs.

to Faricazy, well i know im not the best artist around but i think my comics are funny and the art is decent. i draw better than most pepole i know and ive seen some really badly drawn webcomics.
really i think its about the joke and how funny it is so im not too concerned about my art as long as it gets the joke across

hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you draw badly
it's the same crappy anime style we've seen in webcomics hundreds of times before
that you don't care that your art is bad is troublesome, as you're showing that you don't care to improve. Art is one of THE most necessary things for a webcomic. It's the thing people will notice first and stay with them the most
the joke that you also put so much importance into? it's also awful

As for advice, XXbox girl
you're using MS Paint right?
It really doesn't have the chops to make a decent webcomic unless you're going for a "look" or you're really really talented using it. Heck, even MSPaint Adventures is made in photoshop.
I would suggest downloading GIMP (it's like a free version of photoshop) and learning how to use layers to colour instead of the paint bucket tool.
Also try to not use a font to render your text? Maybe handwrite the text. Use bubbles and work on their flow. At the very least, don't use comic sans.

The drawing isn't even really at the stage where she should be looking at software tools.
