In the interim between panels at the Benaroya, they played advertisements for a lot of different games (SouthPeak seemed to have made a major media buy, based on all the Two Worlds stuff I was seeing). Either between the Keynote and Gabe and Tycho's Q&A, or between Gabe and Tycho's Q&A and the Rooster Teeth panel, they played an ad for what looked like an incredibly cool game. It was some kind of naval space combat game. Fighters engaged in dogfights, while capital ships duked it out with the big guns. The graphics were epic and the sound was phenomenal. It was awesome. The only problem was, the cinematics ended without saying what the name of the game was, when it would be released, or indeed anything at all to provide a clue as to what it was.
Does anyone have the faintest idea what this was, and where and when I can buy it? Because I'd like to check it out, and I know I'm not the only one. I'm pretty sure this was aired before the Rooster Teeth panel, but I'm not sure; whenever it was aired, it was the first thing shown during that particular break.
It looked like it was for EVE Online I am pretty sure.
The game itself isn't dogfighting at all...but more strategical combat. That was what it was for though, as I recognized many of the ships and they have very distinct shapes.
EVE Online though, I recommend you check it out...it is a pretty good game if you stick with it for...oh...a couple months. There is also a PA Corporation in the game...at least last I checked...I have been on break for a while.

LOL. A Penny Arcade Corporation in EVE Online? I might just have to play this game. It always disappoints me when the cinematics and art that are used in advertising games never match up to the finished product that we actually play, but still, this looks like something I might want to check out. Thanks to you and Zecro for the clarification!
