Taking shelter in the ruin of the tower, you find nothing of value, and after a short rest you continue on your journey towards the goblins' lair.
After each encounter, you generally will have the opportunity to take a short, five minute rest. During this rest, you may freely spend healing surges in order to recover lost hit points (and I recommend each of you heals to full). You also regain any spent encounter powers.
In future encounters, you will have the ability to spend an Action Point. Doing so is a free action which you may take on your turn to grant yourself an extra standard action (which may be used as a move or minor if you choose, but, generally speaking, Action Points are best used for making extra attacks). At the beginning of each day, you start with one Action Point. For each two encounters you complete during that day, you gain another Action Point. No more than one Action Point may be spent during an encounter, so there is not much point in hoarding them.
Feel free to engage in any roleplaying as you continue your journey to the caves, and I'll continue the adventure when you each indicate you are ready to go on.

Flipan almost threw his dagger in anger. Instead he wiped the bloodied blade on a dead orcs shirt and slid it away up his sleeve, limping over to his hat and staff. Flipan walked across to where Loni was leaning against the wall.
"Well, that was a nice bit of exercise. I feel *huff* reenergized."
Flipan said with a grin, enjoying his own sarcasm; his smile turned to a grimace as pain shot up his arm. Just about everything was sore.
