As a Balance druid, I'd feel pretty cheated that the damn sunflower got a model before the Worgen/Troll moonkin forms. C'mon.
Also, the Naaru have terrible judgement, as Cataclysm shows. Oh, let's save Milhouse only to have him be a fucking Twilight's Hammer member. Stupid Naaru.

..That makes no sense. The Twilight's Hammer worships old gods and the second thing Milhouse does (after drinking) is kill a servant of an Old God.

I think this is the most recent definitive proof that Blizzard loathes our existence as players, and they're just complacent enough to get our moneys... /tinfoilhat

They probably made him an offer he couldn't refuse. Free booze, all the night elf women he wanted, a little plaque proclaiming the greatness of the mighty Millhouse Manastorm that he could hang on the wall...that sort of thing.
Ugh. I'll be better off starting at level 1 than picking up at 70 where I left off.
Absolutely nothing has changed between level 1 and 70 since TBC besides the new AB mechanic and Hot Streak. Frost has pretty much stayed exactly the same since TBC.
Personally, I'm a little miffed that Moonkin form is mandatory for doing good DPS rather than being a CD. But I say this because I plan to make a worgen balance druid and want to add /emote barks. to my insect swarm macro.

Yeah I feel the same way about both Moonkin and Tree form.

Seriously though i'm excited. I don't particularly care for all the changes to classes thus far but on the other hand as I get another toon to 80 (maybe 2) prior to Cataclysm it'll be nice to have some little things to make it a bit different and more interesting than it currently is.
Is it possible to bind abilities by upercase vs lowercase? I.e.
q = mutilate
Q = backstab
or
3 = evasion
# = cloak of shadows
Does it work with Caps Lock or would one have to use Shift?
I only have currently my number keys bound and my mouse buttons, but I want to have more things bound but not get too far from my left hand position, so I'm hoping this would simplify things if it's possible.

Yes, you can use 'shift' as a modifier (capslock does not work as a modifier). You can also use:
ctrl
alt
ctrl & alt
ctrl & shift
alt & shift
so for each key you can have seven abilities keybound to it

I don't think you can use the caps lock key to modify keybinds like that.
You can use Alt, Shift, or Control though.
*beated.... I didn't know you could do ctrl & shift or alt & shift... thanks for that.
Awww,
Assasination in cataclysm switches from using mutilates exclusively to backstabs exclusively once boss hits 30%. I was hoping I could just hit caps lock and keep it all on same button (and not have to take my fingers off movement keys to hit shift).

You could use the action bar scrolling to do that. I'm pretty sure you can assign a hotkey to scroll your action bar.

Ah great point!
Yeah, I think ctrl+mouse scroll does it by default.

Why would you need to take your fingers off your movement keys? I have my three middle fingers on WASD, my little finger on shift and my thumb on space and a slight movement allows either my thumb to hit 'alt' or my little finger to hit 'ctrl' gives a load of keybinds without having to relocate ones hand.
What are some great servers to play on? Basically a decently balanced (Alliance to Horde rato-wise) server I could transfer some characters to/roll on. One that I can easily find pugs for raids. One whose wintergrasp isn't dominated by one faction.
I am just curious to see what some people's replies are. Me and my friends used to play together on Firetree alliance, but have since gone to other servers. For Cataclysm we are looking to reunite on a good server and raid casually with each other. We would go back to Firetree but it's the same people and the same guilds, same reasons we left in the first place.

I'd suggest waiting until a few months after CATACLYSM appears to transfer, as expansions tend to be guild-killers and see all sorts of changes in server populations. Things settle down after 3-4 months and then you'd have a better picture of where things stand.

Understandable, but we are all excited for the expansion. That's like asking me to wait a few months on opening my christmas presents. I know you aren't saying we can't play, and I understand what you are saying. It's true that expansions do change a lot of things. Guilds break up, guilds reform, new guilds arise, populations fluctuate.
I think servers that are still going strong as of right now are still going to be fine when Cataclysm hits, and those are the ones I am interested in. Right now I am playing on Cho'Gall Alliance which has about a 5% Alliance population. There is one raiding guild (now two I believe) and rarely any pugs and Wintersgrasp is captured when the planets align and the horde are asleep or at work. We are itching to get off our servers now and settle in before the expansion and enjoy the new 4.0 patch.
So, I ran Heroic Deadmines for the first time last night.
...
Yeah, that's different than the original, all right. Dunno if we had a bad tank or what, but he was just getting destroyed by some of the stuff in there.

were you using CC?
It is making a comeback in Cata and in early TBC CC wasn't always about trying to control caster/healer mobs, or mobs with powerful abilities, it was also sometimes simply about controlling the damage intake on your tanks.

Well, we were trying.
The ogres leading up to the first boss seem to be immune to the ones we had (I know Repentance didn't work on them), and they hit like a truck.
And then there's a pull with two of the assholes. Someone in-guild said you almost have to kite one. We didn't really have a kiter, so one of the DPS ended up just helped with healing so we two-healed it.

Just be careful you aren't running a language bar or use different languages for your keyboard. Ctrl + Shift and Alt + Ctrl can start to do odd things if that is the case.

Shaman are different because they don't have a ton of combat tricks to work with. Shit, they just got CC in Wrath, and it's nothing super stellar.
My scenario involves dogs with bees in their mouths and when they bark they shoot bees. So your argument is invalid.
