So this was my first year of PAX (Loved it, by the way), and I was the only one of my group of 4 that had an interest in the concerts (weighted against missing other things or sleep, that is.) So, I made it into the concerts the first night, as I had a wristband, and enjoyed the hell out of it. Protomen was stunning, and Anamanaguchi rocked my world, etc. etc.
On saturday, I had no wristband, having just missed them in the morning. I still went to stand in line for the concerts, but I got there a bit late (my own fault, of course.) So, after standing in line for a while with some random cool PAX people, we heard that the concert was almost all full up. I ended up shoulder to shoulder with two other people, a guy and a girl who had come to PAX together. Mr. Khoo was standing there counting out how many more people were allowed into the hall to fill it to capacity. He said that there were only two spots left, so I immediately volunteered the other people who were in the front of the line, pretty much before he finished his sentence (What can I say, I'm a nice guy like that.) So they go in, and Khoo tells everyone in the line that people will leave after the omegathon thing, and that we should just wait a bit, but he says to me that I should come with him. So he leads me to the main hall thing, us making small talk and introducing ourselves (I had no idea who he was at the time until he told me what his job was), and handed me a PAX 2010 VIP Seating wristband, then escorted me to the VIP booth to the left of the stage.
tl;dr version: I got to meet Robert Khoo, and sit in the VIP booth, as a reward for being altruistic, and it made my PAX a hundred times more awesome.
Is there any best way for me to contact him? I want to say thanks again to him for that whole experience. Hope everyone else had a good PAX experience!

I believe he frequents the forums. You could probably try shooting him a PM on there.
I also got a chance to meet him at PAX. Being a huge fan of PATV, I recognized him immediately. He was doing something on his phone and I asked if I could bug him for a picture. He said we should look like we were talking about something important.
Anyways we chatted for a quick second, and he shared an interesting fact with me about my hometown of Winnipeg, MB. Such a cool guy. Knowing the level of involvement he has in the planning/execution of PAX, the fact that he still takes time to help Enforcers hand out T-Shirts at panels speaks volumes about his character.
He shook my hand and said thanks once.
That made my day.
Nice. As a fellow Pegger, I'm curious which fact he shared.
Kiko was making his rounds during the concert, taking pics and stuff during the whole thing. The stage door was propped open during one of the Minibosses multiple Excite Bike runthroughs, and as me and my buddy kept yelling "LOUDER" and "FASTER" between Excite Bikes (The songs like 8 seconds long), I could see Khoo looking at us and grinning like a mofo. Or maybe it at Kiko who was looking in his direction at the time.
Khoo's a cool dude; He organizes Penny Arcade, and doesnt afraid of nobody.

It's Thursday and we just got settled in our room in the Sheraton. We decide to head out to get our badges (being speakers, we don't get them mailed to us) and a bite to eat. We get down to the second floor where registration is supposed to be only to find some other event going on. I saw Khoo standing there, but didn't want to bother him. Then without even really saying anything he realizes we are looking for reg, and he personally escorts us to where the registration-handling enforcers are camping out.
He's super busy running this whole PAX, but he's still got time to personally take care of the little things.
This. I love the man but I don't want to disrupt his workflow. I honestly believe there are actually 4 or 5 Robert Khoos (Khooes? Khooi?) because it's not possible for one man to be everywhere all the time...but he is.
damn! you found out the secret...
please remain where you are while the secret army of KhooNinjas(tm) moves to your location...
Attack of the Khloones
(sorry Robert you know I you)
THIS hell it was the same with Mike and Jerry I saw jerry twice but he was deep into a phone email each time and I thought 'that man will have 10000 people disturb him from getting anywhere so just give him a break' it was neat to see em though.:P
This was a great story, though. Khoo always does all he can for people to try to make sure everyone has a great time at PAX. Rewarding the good people like this is one of those things he likes to do. If everybody has a good time, things not only go smoother for him and all the staff of PAX but it also has people leave with great memories of PAX, Penny-Arcade, and the gamer community in general. ;]

Maybe I'll get a picture next year.
I try to always make a point to say hi to Khoo and thank him for his work whenever I see him at PAX. Missed him this year, although a friend I was with saw him power walking by and yelled "You're famous!" and he just waved. Ha.
Whenever I see Khoo, I simply snap to attention and salute

I agree. I saw Kiko and The Khoos (that sounds like a sweet band name... DIBS! unless they want it haha) running around the entire time but I never said hi to them for the same reason. The only member of the PA crew that I was able to talk to was Erika. She was in the console freeplay area with her shiny new fiance so I took that opportunity to congratulate them. They were very pleasant!
Lastly, AnArmyofNone, I was right behind you on Saturday night in that same line for the concerts. I was wondering where Khoo ran off to, now I know haha! Awesome! :]

Also, for the VIP boxes... aren't they the same as the boxes opposite them? I remember Wil complaining about not being in the front during Paul and Storm's last song.
That was you??? You win at life. See me at PAX East for many many free drinks.
We passed right by you as he was trying this, I was all like "oh hey, it's mill! why is she stopping... oh shit, it's Khoo! *dash out of the picture*"
I showed up to tear things down on Monday, he was there already tearing down banners with everyone else.
Just seems like something you'd delegate when you have that much work to do. Nope he's right there with the rest of us pulling apart those goddamn banners.
That was YOU!! I was the media dude in the Afro. Damn you and Excite Bike!!
LOL! I thank Khoo because he got me my Media badge for doing the Unofficial PAX Community DVD. Khoo, you are awesome! I take back all the things Scott Kurtz said about you, while drunk!
YES! Kick ass! I apologize now if I ruined any of your footage with my loudness! I also saw Coldbrew further down.
Well hey man, send me a PM or something if you wanna socially network at some point.
Take care,

Wow that speaks more character as a boss than anything.
Gotta give it to Mr. Khoo on that.
I got nothing nearly as cool as a VIP Pass though. :P
Also: I met a guy with a Pax VIP pass because his "Friend's friend's friend's brother is friends with Tycho and Gabe"
Like a sort of a "friend of a friend of mine" sort of thing.
