    I had to bow out last year due to saving for a wedding, I'm now married and may have to bow out this year because I've just bought a house. Growing up sucks!

    Also, Jaef, I totally forgot about Valkyria Chronicles!

    I got loads of awesome stuff the last year I did it, in fact I still have the plushy zombie/brain cell/blood cell sat on my desk in front of me at work.

    Ill do this and the Wii VC ones this year. I had to take last year off because of work related furloughs.

    I will say though - it is EXTREMELY intimidating after seeing what some of you folks put together. EXTREEEEEEEEMEEEEEELY.

    I am so fucking ready to get my Santa on. I've already been socking away a bit here and there to be able to spread the joy. My wife has already caught me appraising things with the "some random geek would LOVE this" look.

    Luckily, she doesn't feel slighted - apparently I give her good "loot" too.
    And by putting loot in quotes, I was making a penis joke. Just so you know. But she likes her presents, too.

    The first year I did it I bought MinionofCthulhu a Wii game and then packed a box of personalised gifts and shipped it from England, it cost much money. The box of goodies never arrived. It then appeared back on my doorstep about 6 months later, it didn't have a return address on it and I'd actually moved house by that point.

    I have NO idea how the post in this country works.

    The moral of the story is I'd recommend paying a little extra to get some sort of recorded delivery thing.

    My FAMILY just did our draws for christmas, this thing NEEDS to start! I know a lot of the posters are american and they have that thanksgiving thing but the rest of the world just have...well nothing really, except PA Secret Santa!

    Sweet Potatoe Pie is okay, if that's what you're expecting. I mean sure, it is no pumpkin, but it is not terrible.

    Reminds me of the time I had the world's worst shortbread cookies. They were actually cheese biscuits.

    I'm excited for this year.

    My plan is the same as last year: start making something really awesome and cool, but then don't finish it in time, so then make something less cool and compensate by including a bunch of random crap.

    I believe I heard earlier that Doc Holliday was going to mount it up again.
