I really hope Phreak never makes a point to focus on minion kills in one of his spotlights again. It's the most fucking annoying thing as Kayle to have MIss Fortune come into your goddamn lane and just wreck with her spells. I'm so tired of it.
Phreak isn't even good, I don't understand why people listen to him.
Yea, I'm sad that support has been so neglected lately with all the new champs. I love playing support the most but I never get any new ones. Yeah, there have been tanks like Galio, Shen, Garen, etc. But I want me more support! I think I will be playing more Kayle now. Because Kayle is a BOSS.
I die so much with Kayle and I can never, ever rape like people do with her.
I don't get it.
People melt bitches with her.
Also I want support so bad, a bard is just what this game needs now.
Fuck Soraka.
It's because the other team allows Kayle enough hits at the very start to get a rageblade fast. Then she can farm at her leisure, or even jungle.
Yeah, just focus on farming for the laning phase (try to get a 1v1 lane) and after your Rageblade get a Starks or something, and it's GG.
There are very few games where I can't just carry my team to victory as Kayle. I do need them to try, and good players make it go way faster, but the starks is probably a key to success. Especially since most people in Normal games don't build Randuin's Omen.

TBH the vast majority of kayles I see atm are failing really badly, don't know why.
master yi is a beast. im looking for a better build into infinity blade. my current build im basically screwed if i get paired against a range because i cant last hit effecctively without getting into range of one nuke hit death.
any suggestions on a better build up to it thats less dependent upon it?
Something I've been thinking about regarding Kennen that I haven't had time to test out yet. Are Sunfire Cloaks a good idea? Seeing as how you're zooming through everyone with multiple skills it seems like Sunfire would be a good idea. I'm just not sure how well 1 would do. Don't think there's really space for 2 of em.
And what are good generic Runes? The problem is I regularly play Nidalee, Vlad, some Urgot on the side and I can easily see Kennen being part of that rotation. How do I kit my book out to fit them all? Currently have 2 flat hp quint's and a cd reduction.

Sunfires tend to perform best on characters where you try to stay next to your enemies as much as possible. With Kennen you're dashing in and out, and trying to stay away from people, so you wouldn't really get much damage off.
Generally speaking, sunfires on ranged characters don't work.
guess they haven't seen my zero losses (since i hit level 30 and learned how to play anivia well)

"You never know! I can't say for sure. As for bards, you will be pleasantly surprised soon."
I think I just busted a nut.. yea I just busted one in my pants.
I am seriously so psyched to get a support character.
Yep, that's Sona. She should be out soon, and then I think Irelia after her?
Going to be playing both, I hope.
Oh snap, wait, the name of the champ is already confirmed? Any pics or info?
There's some flavor in the latest Journal of Justice (or maybe the previous one, I don't remember offhand), but aside from that, it's pretty sparse. I've seen confirmation she's coming up, but that's about it.

Ghostblade > Infinity's Edge
Its far cheaper, gives attack damage + cooldown reduction + crit + armor pen for far less cost. Plus the active is absurd on yi. Build an avarice first and the cost goes down as well as the avarice is making gold while you build ghosts. Its conceivable to pick up a ghostblade + bfsword for the same price as an infinity. Infinity's edge is far too expensive to rely on.
Comparison
Ghostblade + BF Sword
+80 attack damage
+15% cooldown reduction
+20% armor penetration
+15% critical strike
+ A GREAT ACTIVE
Total Cost - (4537 gold) - Not taking into account the reduction cost by avarice blade gold gain
Infinity Edge
+80 attack damage
+20% critical strike
+Crits do 50% more damage

For those heroes, I'd say magic penetration reds, mana regen per level yellows for the mana heroes, dodge yellows for the heroes without mana if you get at least 9 points in defense with them, cooldown reduction blues, and continue with getting a 3rd HP quint.
As for Sunfire Kennen, that sounds pretty gimmicky, and not the good kind of gimmicky, as he's not really the type of hero that stays in the fray for long. Certainly something worth a try sometime but I think standard builds would be more effective.

He's in the top 100 in 5v5 ranked so he's clearly doing something right.
That said I disagree and think he should really focus on minion kills more often because it's something that a fair amount of folks don't even look at, and for carries it's a pretty huge priority.
Yeah, just focus on farming for the laning phase (try to get a 1v1 lane) and after your Rageblade get a Starks or something, and it's GG.
Nashor's Tooth is generally a better choice because she really needs the CDR. Not too often a Kayle is the one on the team that can get the blue buff consistently, and she shouldn't need mana nearly as badly as your team mana vaccuum later, whoever that might be.

You know, as your ELO goes up, Nashor's tooth is less and less popular. Rather a starks into Infinity Edge. Nashor's is nice for your heal but you aren't really there for your Healing.

Try a ghostblade if you want some lulz. Has a bit of the advantage of nashor's (cd reduction) the the active is nuts on kayle.
nashor's and rageblade are still core on kayle no matter what level you play at, from what i've seen on streams.
though, it will still depend on the game you're in. rageblade first though, always. if no one else on the team is getting starks, then kayle is a good option to carry it, but CDR is also an important stat for her so you can keep your righteous fury up 90% of the time and get your ult back sooner.

Confirmation that Elo hell exists.
Again.
I feel your pain. When ranked first started, I lost about 10 games in a row where I went massively positive every single game and my team mates were still attempting the tricky ascent out of primordial ooze. It pretty much made me give up ranked until recently when I started again and have got significantly luckier with team mates.
Urgot's ult is hilarious when you're Katarina. I got switched behind a turret into two champions and I Flashed and Shunpo'd out and ran away unscathed.
Those poor squishy carries have to farm their ass off and maybe get some early ganks in order to become terrors, yet all a Nasus/Gragas/Garen/Mordekaiser has to do is moderately farm and survive until mid game. Then they just charge that poor squishy carry.

this is basically what happened in my last MF game
i was murdering their malzahar at mid (this one time i had a wriggle's lantern ward in the bushes and saw him come up behind me, and i started attacking him, and just walked by me, deciding it was a bad idea to engage... but it was a worse idea to just walk by me as i murder you)
but i got to the midgame to see nunu + vlad + urgot just outlasting everything about us and i failed to make a madred's razor in time
even if i made one urgot would have pulled me into their ultimates anyway, probably
