League of Legends is a DoTA (Defense of the Ancients) style game made by some of the people that worked on DoTA Allstars. It's free to play; but, includes augmentations that you can buy with real money or in-game points.

Get on the G&T vent to play with us (list at bottom), the vent info is stickied at the top of the forum.

There's a ton of info on the game, and I don't want to reinvent the wheel. So, check out:
leagueoflengends.com, the game database provided by Riot (who make the game).
leaguecraft.com, there are a lot of fan sites out there with general information and builds. This is just one; and, it's kinda slow as shit. Regardless of where you look for builds keep in mind, most of them make assumptions that are not clearly conveyed and there are a lot that are just plain bad. Tread lightly.

Sorry Ender. I'm totally guilty of the jumping on to damn you for what you said thing. But at the same time it is oh so easy to do so when you say things in these absolute concrete ways without looking closely at tooltips or following up on some contentious piece of information. Just... don't phrase things like they are gospel and set in stone when uncertainty lurks?

And man don't think that people disagreeing with you is some sort of internet bullying herd mentality thing. That is why Jax is basically the slow burner of the Twisted Treeline world. Or at least he used to be. Running Jax/Mundo/X with me and a buddy was basically 100% win rate for a long time. Small battles where people are super susceptible stuns, other cc, and burst? Yes please.

Still want to resurrect that team with like a Garen or Olaf as the dedicated third. Maybe my buddy has a kid brother or something.

edit: yikes I somehow misread that as 'trying to 1v1' instead. Point still stands.

I've been building AS Miss Fortune, and it seems to be very effective. Please criticize my build!

I get a Meki Pendant and pots to start. Her early game is reliant, I feel, on harassment and poking and she has a small mana pool.

I build that into a Chalice because she has a ton of mana problems.

I get Beserker's Greaves for boots and grab a Last Whisper

After that, games are usually ending or close to ending, so I grab a B.F. Sword and a Pickaxe.

Any ideas?

I've been doing Dagger> Manamune> Zerker Greaves> Inf Edge>Last Whisper> Undecided

I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. My last game was 4-5-19. I'm still unsure on when I should push in for the kill so I end up getting a ton more assist. All 5 of those kills came from a Yi that realized JUST how squishy I was. I was thinking of getting a Rageblade in there. Maybe a Guardian Angel to help with the deaths in end game. I'm still not set on this build but like I said, it worked really well.

Thanks to all the folks I played with tonight (Rak and KingMoo and all the other guys I can't remember off the top of my head) for putting up with my terrible loading time and constant lag/whining about lag.

I played around a bit as Urgot, and I couldn't figure out a good build order. I was going Dorans Ring> Brutilizer>Phage>Merc Treads>Manamune and then the game was over. I would think rushing Manamune would be a good idea but I don't know for sure.
