I played this last night and was loving it. I see there a lot more tanks and supports than there once was. That's okay, I'll just push lanes with my assassin while they all deathmatch in the center.

There has been a notable drop off in the number of horrible players playing this game.
Like now it takes 3-4 minutes to steamroll people, instead of 1-2.
But maybe we're just rusty.
8-)
It was funny when my mind couldn't handle the fact that we had been defeated by a team that didn't even exploit and I immediately went into denial. I'm still trying to get a handle on new support now that juice seems to play a much bigger part in his game.
Edit: Also the community still rage quits like it aint' no thang. Somethings never change i guess.
My aunt had that. I wouldn't wish it on anybody.
Serves her right though...She would ragequit if our moneyball shields dropped before theirs.
Seriously thou.
Is it worth making kamikaze runs at the money ball to keep the shields down? Are there stats on how long it takes to come back up? (30 seconds without damage or something)
I fucking hate this gammmmmme. We get to level 29 or 30 of the Playoff Blitz and the one guy in our game that isn't a PA guy quits and it fucks up the whole game, causing everyone to lose connection because the host couldn't be migrated.
They really need to fix host migration. I was destroying a team with 4 snipers when the host quits. When the game starts again I'm a support with level one skills and its now my team of 2 against their team of 4. :?
There's still a few things to be ironed out, but the host migration is noticeably better. Which probably speaks more to how terrible it was before, but whatever.
They still need to reduce the juice supports get for healing stuff, though. Way too easy to exploit, almost every "high level" player is running a turtling support. Makes for extremely boring games.
I'm not interested in wasting 15 minutes to see who can juice rush faster.
Look like some decent updates, but man, getting harder and harder to play well as Support, by the looks of things. Going to be a pretty thankless task soon.
...Now on to more changes that will be in our first Free DLC which comes out in November.

Support
» Fixed an issue with Firebases that caused them to focus on a Moneyball they can’t hit.
» Reworked Heal/Hurt Gun code to make it more reliable.
» Fixed griefing with Firebases: Firebases placed on an active jump pad or activating a jump pad with a Firebase on it will now destroy the Firebase.
Other Fixes and Changes
» Fixed GapShots in Blitz from moving on clients when they are stopped on the host.
» Reworked reload to greatly reduce the occurrence of having to restart reload when the reload animation was interrupted near the end.
» Reworked the death UI so that it now displays the endorsements of who killed you.

» Reworked how random maps are chosen to be less repetative.
More to come this week…
Wow. I mean, so much of this is so welcome. Really good sounding update. Especially the arena fixes, like what it sounds like they have done to Steel Peel.

Yeah, hopefully Steel Peel won't be an overwhelmingly shit map after the patch.
Love the rant from Tycho today. Seriously, you have to be crazy to jump into bed with MS when you have an MP focused game.
UE: Hey we want to release a game using XBL as an exclusive
MS: Okay
UE: Oops found some bugs in multiplayer, we need to patch them
MS: Okay, but you have to go through our QA
UE: But it is our game!
MS:HAHAHAHAHAHA. Good one.
UE: Okay well we better roll all our changes at once
UE: Put them all in. Here you go MS
UE: Hello world. Patch coming soon. Here is a list of exploits we fixed.
<week>
UE: MS just has to do their QA thing
<week>
UE: So MS how is the QA process coming along?
MS:zzzzzz
UE: Have you started it yet?
MS: Oh right, you sent that to us didn't you. Well we don't really make any money on this patch, so we will get to it when we dang well please.
<week>
UE: We are not contractually allowed to talk about the MS QA process? Now we know why.
<week>
UE: Finally got that patch out. Hello? Anyone still playing?
The other stuff is great too, I'm just looking forward to maybe playing a game where people actually attack the moneyball before wasting 15 mins of everyone's time.

I'm seriously impressed, this is one of the most comprehensive and awesome sounding updates I've seen for a long time, and they aren't even finished yet.

Microsoft didn't become number one for being a charity outfit. However, they do like to fuck us, The consumer over and over.
Seriously though. I've never played this and I've heard good things about it.

My guess is that developers will now think twice about releasing on XBL. The consensus is that they screwed over Uber because they could. That has to have a chilling effect on indie developers. Valve dealt with the system with the Orange Box and decided it wasn't worth it. There still hasn't been an update for TF2 (to fix bugs or add content).
Quick exploit fixes are absolutely essential to an online game's experience. Especially if the game is entirely MP based.
I like this game and I am a little cautious about how it will be supported in the future. Will I have to keep buying DLC to continue playing it?
New Features and Additions The name of the free DLC 1 is “Spunky Cola Special”
Arenas » Added a new Crossfire Arena: » Spunky Cola Arena: A single lane arena that puts players into the action faster and guaranteeing more explosions, more shooting and more awesome!
» Added a new Blitz Arena: » Survivitol Arena: Bought from Grandma Betty’s, the Survivitol Arena is the next level of Blitz action. Small and deadly with two tiers of bot spawners will keep Pros on their toes!
» Added a new Blitz Mode: » Only in the Survivitol Arena will you be faced with the deadly, the intense, the incredibly frantic Super Sudden Death Blitz!
Private Games
» Added in new options for private games: » Set game duration
» Set overtime duration, including 0 time for no overtime
» Toggle buying bots
» Toggle buying Juice
» Toggle Bullseye spawning
» Toggle using Hazards (Annihilator / Ejectors)
» Choose specific or random map
» Hazards on / off
» Force random classes
» Toggle use of custom classes
» Toggle class changing
» Class limits on all classes
» Added IceMen Pitgirl to updated level intros/outros
Ok so who is under all those mysterious strips lying on a bed of bacon? One way to find out. Click here for American Bacon.
Happy Halloween from all of us at Uber Entertainment! Spunky Cola Special will be out in November for free! We’ll announce dates and show off the DLC in more detail closer to release!
Just let my Live subscription expire. The only way I see it getting renewed in the near future is if this thread goes crazy in the next week or so. I have high hopes for the juice nerf, but I'm relying on you all to let me know if it's worth it.
Played 2 games. Felt good. There is still an element of juice rushing, but nothing like as bad as before. The new churro thing is cool, the new cinematics are cool, new tags are cool. Not played the new level yet.
And Support doesn't feel rape-gimped, but not as effective as before. I will adapt.

I haven't had a chance to play it yet, but I heard the airstrike recharge is ridiculously slow. That true?

Like, sometimes really awesome players I'm praising one minute get killed a couple of times in their base and then...
*DeathxXxIncarnatexXxSniperPWN has left the game*
Hope they all get burning AIDS cancer of the face.

Also, consolidation of metas would be rad, put my vote down for "A PA MNC" as the main. Having it at the top of the offline list is quite convenient.
edit: I am jumping on yet again to try and beat the last two blitz modes.

I'm kind of surprised that they left the grenade launcher damage on the moneyball alone.

Uber, you guys rock!
Officially and confirmed.
Thank goodness because I am so tired of juice rushers and the auto-heal glitch.

Also, that American Bacon picture is hilarious.
Finally hit level 99 this week too!
I just love it. So much fun. Constantly.
Fragglefart, I'm not sure I have ever played with/against you before. When are you usually on?
I was on earlier this evening
Usually late Friday / Saturday nights.
My headset has broken though, which sucks.
