Hahaha
Playing Kasumi's loyalty again and one of the Merc Heavies just obliterated his own allies.
Like every time he fired a missile mercs were flying through the air!
Beautiful
Like people have suggested eariler, I wish they have some modular helmets in ME3. What I mean by that is that they go through a minor transformation during a cutscene, much like the weapons do when you holster them. That way you can have your fancy helmet on most of the time, but still get to see the face when you talk to people
I'm going to finish this Soldier run-through even if it's not very fun yet.
After this I will have beaten the game at least once with very class but Engineer. Should I even bother? I just want ot go back to Infiltrator and Vanguard. But I should play Engineer at least once. Right?
So, fighting that first boss in LotSB as a vanguard is just so right!
Also, was I think only one who...
When first seeing the Shadow Broker, immediately thought he looked like large volus? In my mind, I got really excited because I've always wanted to see a volus in combat. Then he turns out to be a species invented for the game and my excitement kind of deflated a bit. Still thought it was great fun though, I just really wanted to see a badass volus

Well...I'll put it this way.
Engineer is fun if you like sitting back while the enemies do all the work for you and you take potshots.
When optimized it feels like you control the battlefield. But at the same time...you're not as involved in it as other classes.
If that makes sense.

Well...I don't know.
I mean honestly...I feel that I tend to have a good grasp for how the classes work so I play them differently than most.
*Tried to say that in the least annoying way possible.
What. As an Enginneer I control the battlefield, yes, but I feel very involved, constantly debuffing enemies with Overload and Incinerate, and letting Kasumi/Samara land the killing blow as I moved onto the next target, assisting with the Locust.
But, yeah, I can see how an Engie speced into the Drone and AI Hacking can feel lacklustre.
Play an Adept on Insanity with both of your squadmates at level 1, while you're capped.
That's how I played Lair of the Shadow Broker (I fucking forgot I reset their levels, Liara was just level 1 automatically, and I never bothered to check the squad screen. I somewhat took it for granted she had no skills aside from a singularity that didn't really work on anyone).
That's how you'll be having the most fun.
If you don't come out of that experience as a motherfucker, I don't know what to tell you.

Problem with Engineer spec'ed in overload and incinerate is that it isn't much different than a Sentinel...and Sentinel does what that does much better.
Man I like the Mantis and the Widow. I know conventional Wisdom is all up in the Viper's butt, but I love the feeling of one devastating shot, the crack of thunder, followed by the reload.
I realize I have begun to pick my guns according to feeling rather than effectiveness
Maybe this is ME2 nirvana
Honestly, with the Soldier, it doesn't matter what gun you use, you're going to kill everything all the time.
"I am a great wind that will sweep all before me like a...a great wind. A great biotic wind!
Lol! Maybe I'm just crazy in wanting to see a badass volus. I mean, some have to be soldiers or security guards right? There has to be some volus who are more physically powerful that other volus. And beyond that if they didn't have some kind of weapons skills, how could they evolve into the apex species of their planet? What happened when they fought tribal wars?
Besides, when does physical power have anything to do with advanced weapons and starships? Audie Murphy was 5'5" and 165 lbs and look at what he accomplished with just a machine gun and a radio!
I demand a vol-clan badass!

The Reapers are actually Volus battlesuits.
That one Volus on Ilium decided to use them to frighten the humans so he could start shorting pre-fabs at profit.
At the end of ME3, Shepard takes his/her final ascension as Space Jesus and gains all the powers.
I'm hoping for the end of ME3 you can go all Kotor and go for either renegade emperor of the galaxy or goody two shoes president. And maybe an additional third in-between.
Big Horrible Theory® Time!
In Mass Effect 3 Shepard will uncover information about some of the mystery planets in game (Ploba, Logan, Klencory, Junthor, and Preying Mouth specifically) and discover that they are the hiding places of vast terrible weaponry sequestered by previous galactic civilizations. These weapons were assembled to fight the Reapers but too much time was wasted and they were unable to be used. So in desperation they were hidden deep in the gravity wells of gas giants with the hope that a future civilization would be able to recover them and use their terrible power to destroy the Reapers and break the cycle forever. Junthor would hold ancient secrets about the Reapers creation and their original purpose and hints as to a final creation hidden on lonely Klencory.
On Klencory Shepard would find and awaken the 'Beings of Light' and find the fate of the Reapers creators, in a desperate gamble to escape their own creations the progenitor race abandoned their final weapon and ascended into a non-corporeal being, sacrificing their individual identities to exsist as a gestalt intelligence. Over the eons this entity lost it's sense of scale and perceived the cycle of extinction as little more than flash of activity, but part of it's vast mind still remembered the Reapers and the fate they imposed on their own race so it tries to help how it can, by bombarding the minds of those who near it's space with warnings and visions of both the Reapers and their own final weapon. Most are driven insane by the overwhelming power of these broadcasts but a few retain enough sanity to attempt to recover the lost weapon (or some take it the wrong way and seclude their own final weapons like the progenitors did.) With some of the weapons recovered Shepard would gather all the available forces he can and attack the Reapers, I'd have to assume with how they're writing Liara, Wrex, and possibly Legion those three would use their influence and power to try and wrangle the galactic community together (even if it involved Liara starting a massive war between the council races and aiming them towards where Shepard is going to confront the Reapers).
Then at the end of everything Shepard would have one gigantic decision. Destroy the weapons forever to keep their terrible power out of reach, or use the weapons to brutally enforce galactic peace and place humanity at a pinnacle of power (I'd assume an appropriate display of power like destroying the Batarian homeworld would be needed to ram the point home).
Needless to say I have a job that gifts me with lots of free time to think and nothing else to do.

@dashui: i'm a big believer in the hyperion motto:
"Hyperion asks, 'What good is a gun that doesn't shoot where you point it?' Get a gun that's as accurate as you are!" - Marcus Kincaid

The Lair of the Shadow Broker is great. It's worth it just for the crew dossiers.
When I finally got to see the thing I initially thought it was a salarian. One of my previous theories as to the Shadow Broker's identity was the rumored 13th member of the League of One. This may still be true because we now know that The Shadow Broker is like The Dread Pirate Roberts. Except in space and neither Carey Elwes or Andre the Giant (who was the best actor in that whole film God rest his soul) .
"Yeah, yeah. I killed all the Geth so can we go now. Man. That Kal guy was cool, can I take him instead?"
"But Shepard...don't you think all that Dark Energy is strange..."
"Mmmh-hhmm. Man, what happened to all those Geth Colossus? I remember fighting like 50 of them 2 years ago."
"And don't you think it's even stranger that I keep talking about it even though it has no relevance to ME2."
"Yeah, sure."
"I mean it's like the developers are setting something up so when the big reveal happens in ME3 you can look back on ME2 and go like 'I KNEW IT!'"
"I see."
Then Kal'Reegar mentions it again at the trial. And the Noveria Investigator who's name escapes me at the moment also says she's investigating hacking attempts against Noveria trying to get at Dark Energy data. I'm sure there are a bunch of other places it's mentioned.
I'm guessing Dark Energy will provide a means for defeating the Reapers or at the very least provide the reason as to why the Reapers need to wipe everyone out every 50,000 years.
Also, yes, we need to see more of Kal in ME3.

He kind of made me think of a Krogan-Salarian genetic hybrid, like some kind of genophage experiment that went wrong in some way and was disavowed.

Beautiful
But then that means I wouldn't have the Mattlock anymore.
But I don't really need the Mattlock because I have the Locust.
Arghhh...
The Incisor just isn't getting the job done.
The Mattock, though? I want it to have my babies.

Viper is still pretty good on classes that don't get slow-mo.
The Division, Warframe (XB1)
GT: Tanith 6227
Except Reach was capitalized.
Better (jump to about 45 seconds)
Probably the only good bit of the film.

Viper rules for soldiers. Widow is definitely best for infiltrator. You're doing it right.

Soldier kind of feels like cheating.

pretty sure this is mass effect 2 soldier we are talking about, not the immunity soldier from 1. you want a win button, you play that game
"Well, my work is done"
AR is a win button
slo-mo PLUS 200% damage? if that isn't a win button i frankly don't know what is
my next run is gonna be engineer. thinking of speccing into armor piercing ammo for extra damage and using the phalanx all the time
drone won't get too many points, gonna have some in that freezy thing

The DLC guns definitely enhance that. The Mattock is ridiculous. And the Plasma Shotgun is *literally* a homing missile launcher.
god i love that line. one of the best in the game

Krogan combing down the ramp? Drop cover, step back, charge shotgun, AR, step out, blast 'em. Drops their armor and a good chunk of health in one hit.
