I hopped into a Falcon on BTB Slayer on Spire and some random guy jumped on the turret. I took off and this guy was actually a decent shot. I think in the end I had 16 assists from just floating around the top of the Spire.
Taking out 2 of their Falcon spawns was not bad either.
Sprint used to be my preferred loadout but now I'm not so sure.
I absolutely suck using Cloaking though.
I was horrible with cloaking til I found an energy sword and started spying people coming towards me. I'd start backing into a corner, cloak, and wait.
I felt dirty, but I quite easily got my first sword spree doing this.
I probably would've used the sword til it was used up entirely, too, had I not made a stupid mistake and got pinched between 3 guys.

Woohoo! Completed Aggressive Negotiations during a Team Snipers match with literally less than ten seconds left and for the final kill. I want to upload the clip I took of it to my file share, but for some reason I keep on getting an error saying that the upload failed.

So has anybody else's games today seem plagued with, I guess host migrating? Game starts, then it fades out and shows the scoreboard, starting game, does that every few minutes throughout the game. Every game today has done that, across a number of lobbies. Very annoying.

So I just found out that an unarmed grenade from the launcher takes out shields. Or kills if the shields are already down. :rotate:
Should I be worried or saving for a new 360 if my installed game chugs hard when I pick up or switch back to an energy sword on my expired warranty console?
Hmmm..I think we should shoot for a couple metatags. TBK:Reach 1 & 2, or something such as that? I'd like to say I'd have no problem managing it, though I'd be worried I wouldn't be on often enough to do so. I realize Reach is a pretty huge release with the potential number of PA'ers wanting to be on the list, but it's pretty much the best, most reliable way of gathering everyone up. Let me know what you guys think.

Anyway, I've been on a roll today. I've got every achievement except the legendary ones and the Captain/Lt. Colonel ones. I got every avatar helmet too not even intentionally.
So that's pretty nice.
I think getting up to Captain and Lt. Colonel will take a good amount of time however.
I got the "don't die in a mission on legendary" just by taking the "first" mission nice and slow and letting the rest of the squad do the heavy lifting. I doubt I'll have as easy of a time as the game goes on. Luckily I don't need to worry about dying.
So speaking of screenshots. I'm having trouble viewing them in the theater. I can see that I have some but it's grayed out in the local files area and I can't view them. Am I doing it wrong or what?
EDIT: Never mind there's a separate place to view screenshots durp.
Honestly to echo what someone said before, fuck Slayer Classic / Slayer Pro / SWAT / Insert any fucking retarded gamemode that removes 90% of the content from the game. Having a single weapon / ability either de jure or de facto is unacceptable in a 800 pt Arcade game, let alone a full retail. That shit needs to be segregated from the decent game modes.

What is Jerkpacks you ask? Well it is a map and gametype designed around FFA Slayer in a suitable environment. The ruleset has the basics such as the movement, damage, health and weapon choices, etc. These can easily be tweaked before the game begins. There is an option to enable teams and the map has 5 Red and Blue spawns. Just enable teams and manually split up into Red and Blue to try Team Slayer on the map.
Really it is designed for frantic FFA. Gravity Hammer is the best choice. If you give it a go I hope you have fun with it.
