3-bar connections are incredibly rare for me due to location, but I don't notice much of a problem with 2-bar ones. Either way, it's not realistic for me to play Ranked because of how long it can take to find opponents. I pretty much need to keep searching for player matches until a good lobby happens to come up.
Makoto isn't from a high-ranking family nor is she a walking plot device like Noel. And perhaps, maybe she just had a knack for collecting intelligence? *shrug*

Well, yeah, but it's also stated that she isn't very smart and her only good traits were her athletic abilities. Thusly, shouldn't she be assigned to the department that specializes in close-quarters combat?
You know, Valk is a lot of fun. And pretty simple.
Yup, I've been continuing to play more Valk than anyone else, although I feel that a lot of my wins happen just because people don't know how to block his nonsense.
I've kinda got the game on in the background behind me. If anyone's up for some matches, hit me with an invite (or friend request) and I should notice it soon enough.

I'm guessing it's because Makoto is skilled at deceiving people. And she is.
Good games guys. I was definitely dropping a few more combos than usual, but it was probably more being a little rusty than the lag. I still think my Ragna is better than my Valkenhayn, but I need to learn how to deal with certain things with him. His lack of being able to run is just strange to me, so I'm probably doing more wolf dashing than I should.
I don't really get how lag could throw off your inputs, though. The biggest lag problem I had in those matches was that you kept teching out of my Valkenhayn relaunch combos.
I had to trade this game in after I joined an online game and was combo'd from full health to KO twice but someone playing that ho Noel. I swore to pick it up once I picked up a stick though (which will probably be when MvC3 comes out).
And now I just realized Continuum Shift 2 is referring to the arcade version and it just adds the console exclusive characters, am I right?

It was like fighting underwater or something.
It did get better, at least on my end. CS has been nothing but smooth for me.

I'll try to keep an eye on this thread today if anyone is up for some matches.
Though it could simply be that now that I understand 2D fighting games better I'm starting to see what's legit and what's lag tactics.
Also, I'll be around all day if people want to play.
Play story mode?

I can usually pull of the GETB 100% of the time offline, but online it never seems to work at all.

Noel got way better compared to CS1 btw. Though she wasn't very good in CS1.
also there aren't any 100% combos that can actually happen in a match
just like if you set the guard gauge to full in GG
Honestly, though, I think CS1 to CS2 will be as big a jump from CT to CS1.
Feels good.
This is the first character in an ArcSys game I've become genuinely good at comboing and mind gaming with.
