    Good. Taunts shouldn't ever be a vital part of gameplay.

    As a person who mains Q in SF3 I reject that line of thinking.

    I dunno, if a taunt has some value gameplay wise it's just another move to me.

    They're always in some weird spot on the controller which is kind of a pain

    For me, it is less a dislike of the taunt button, and more a dislike of retarded unintuitive loops. I think Q's taunt mechanic is neat and would neither like it more nor less if it were a more standard command input, and Tao's taunt loops would be neither better nor worse in my eyes if they didn't use the taunt button (they'd be exactly as stupid as they are with the taunt button, which is very).

    am i crazy or can mu connect 5C>6C without CH now? on the cs2 thread it says 2C>6C works but

    Probably going to be the final arc of the trilogy(?). Hoping for Jubei and Kokonoe as playable.

    I really don't know if it's CS2 for home consoles though. The wording of the article is really ambiguous.

    The CS2 they're talking about are the 3DS and PSP version, and it seems like the new blazblue game is not related to it.

    I... I guess I'll have to wait and see. It seems crazy but it could be a possibility.

    With the close relations arcsys has with the arcade industry I doubt that will come out before an arcade release, but who knows.

    My bet is that they are just talking about release CS2 for consoles in some capacity. The article says "brand new", but the quote sounds more like they are talking about releasing CS2, which they said they would do before CS1 was released.

    CS2 patch comes after people have a month to experiment and play a good fighter (Arcana Heart 3) or a bad fighter (Mortal Kombat 9).

    Dude, no one who plays mortal kombat will care about blazblue.

    I think the biggest consideration for arcsys that it is a month before the AE patch.

    Honestly...I just hope it's release before this anime convention I'm going to next month.

    Edit: I'm also happy about the ranked match/netcode fixes. BBCS was really a step down from BBCT in that respect.

    well... the patch appears not to work (i applied it, entered training, didn't change the announcer)

    downloading platinum, will see what happens

    i'm not sure what to make of it not "working"

    it just doesn't show up in the system settings, and neither is platinum anywhere. did this happen with previous patches?

    edit: according to dustloop, there is a new update to download to fix it. cool
    edit2: clearing the hdd cache could also work? dustloop

    cleared cache, opened blazblue, now recognizes there's an update to download, downloaded, works!

    Yeah, got it this morning and was practicing a few hours.

    Though didn't really get a chance to play against anybody since most people on during the day are Japanese.

    Yeah...I did notice how much faster some characters are.

    I was playing arcade mode to get used to some of Jin's new combos and man was Noel a lot quicker.

    Even if they did? Might have to hook up some cans or something for your networking. >,>

    I wouldn't mind to play some of this again but I'm not sure switching from MK to this at random occasions would work so well.
