If anyone was wondering where I was, between CoX Issue 19, M&B Warband PoP mod out, the steam stuff I got recently (Poker Night is a fun game to suck at) and the steam stuff I'll inevitably buy in the next few weeks...yea, might not be around much.

Well, I have to say, I'm impressed...

I was expecting this too be slightly less good then WoW, but free! But this has some definite strong points, almost all of which are what I found WoW lacking.

While the quests are all pretty stereotypical I have to say I'm actually into the story. I'm killing helpless animals and collecting their naughty bits not because I want exp, but because I want to know what happens next!

The animations, while not as smooth as WoWs, are much more varied with the optional animation option on. Makes combat look much cooler and far less boring.

Tons of nice little touches, like voiced dialogue, nifty things like limping animations, and NPC's actually doing stuff other than standing upright looking into space.

I'm hooked! And I hate to say it, but I think I'm coming around to the microtransactions set-up.

Btw, rune keeper may be the coolest MMO class I've ever played. My dwarf, blowing enemies to hell with his dual wielding rune stones, while dressed up like a pirate!? Omg orgasm face!

Depends on what you want, usually it's a few tier6 materials and something mithril.

In addition to the Symbol of Celebrimbor you will also need 5 Legendary Fragments, 1 Mithril Flake, and then some of the T6 Crafting materials like Khazad Iron / Extraordinary Hides depending on what you want crafted.

EDIT: Just realized you are Rione, in that case it will be the Symbol of Celebrimbor, 5 Legendary Fragments, 1 Mithril Flake, and around 10 Khazad Iron Ingots total. You will need a Metalsmith to make a Captain Symbol or a Weaponsmith/Woodworker to make you a weapon.

Recipe for each 2nd age weapon costs something like 1G. So unless your crafter knows the recipe already, you should be prepared to pay for it.

"Everybody! Everybody! All DPS on the watcher!"

The Watcher wounds you with Terror of the Deep for 25,939 points of Acid damage.

Looking back at the raid I noticed that damage buff corruptions were stacking on the watcher and that's probably why we kept wiping. We didn't have anyone removing these and no mention of it was made.

    Grats :D

I realized now one of my big faults in the watcher fight was that I didn't have my water effects off to see the bridge that acts as a border for his aoe attack. As a hobbit I was too short to stand on it so that didn't help. This run was actually very informative and I feel much better about going into it another time.

    I usually don't do this, but. . .

I might buy a few XP accelerator tomes to get me the hell out of Moria.

Edit: Either that or I'll just stop questing and level a bit through skirmishes. I have to do something as the place is getting to me.

You should be able to solo all tier 1 solo skirmishes. Tier 2 gets a bit harder, but it's normally doable. However: the rewards are not worth it. Tier 3 is god damned impossible, for as far as I am aware only guardians can run those.

I was going to back this up, at Tier 1 everything is super easy, with the Hardest being Trouble @ Tuck if you get an extra Lt or 2 when opening up the Courtyard.

Tier 2 seems to buff everythings Block/Parry/Evade, more HP, etc. All for a very measly 10/15% Skirmish Mark bonus that disappears if you die even once.

However, as a Champion, if you are running with a Herbalist soldier, you should have no real trouble if you want to test the water for yourself.

Some skirmishes are blocked until you finish corresponding Epic quest. Some are also limited by level, but I think that at 50 you should have access to most (all?) non-Epic quest skirmishes.
