So, if you're the kind of person who only drinks PBR or Natty Ice, you probably haven't noticed, but real beer companies are putting out their fall lineup. For example, I picked up a bottle of this tonight:
It was $7 for a bottle, but considering that A: it was a pint; and B: It was 9% ABV, that's not a terrible deal for your money. Overall, I didn't think the beer tasted very pumpkin-y, but it still tasted good and was pretty easy to drink, leading me to finish the bottle much faster than I should have (seriously, it was the equivalent of like 4 beers, and I'm a lightweight).
Other examples of Fall Beer:
Sam Adams is always putting out seasonal brews, and this year have introduced their own pumpkin ale. I'm going to have to pick up some of that to try, as Sam Adams generally produces decent stuff. I'm not a huge fan of their Octoberfest, but it might just be the style of beer that isn't for me, haven't tried any others.
So if you're a fan of fall beers, post some suggestions for the rest of us alkies! Good beers, bad beers, what have you.

In fact Harpoon Seasonal is generally better than most of the Sam Adams seasonal brews.
I seem to remember Magic Hat turning out a pretty good pumpkin brew around fall as well.
I miss Harpoon beer so bad.
