Maintaining Multiple Lists in a Word Doc
kaliyamaLeft to find less-moderated foraRegistered Userregular
Hello,
I have a document with headings as follows:
I. Topic I
A. Subtopic A.
1. Parag. 1
2. Parag. 2
II. Topic II
B. Subtopic B.
3. Parag. 3
III. Topic III.
C. Subtopic C.
4. Parag. 4
Let's say I want to introduce a new subtopic under Topic II, and then include paragraphs there, too. If I "continue numbering" in word automatically I can't insert paragraph and subtopic sequentially. Instead it just automatically uses the numbering scheme directly above it, and the entire list numbering scheme breaks. It's not a system of linked numbers with indents, but 3 entirely separate list schemes, so indentinf doesn't do anything helpful. Usually my secretary would do this but it is too late. Can anyone help? Thanks.
