Finally, two analog nubs. That's all people ever wanted from the PSP anyway.

Not even nubs, man. They're like.. sticks.

Ah, didn't notice they were sticks. I guess that's coo.

I like how they went to DS style flash carts though. Will that cut down on "teh graphix!"?

I doubt it. You've got to remember how expensive flash memory was in 2004 when the PSP launched. It just wasn't feasible at the time to get large-capacity flash memory cards on the cheap, which is why they went with the minidiscs.

Oh god the guys over at NeoGAF are already calling the death of the 3DS.

It's fucking 2004 all over again.

Seriously, huge OLED screen, dual touchpads, 3G, really powerful graphics abilities...I can't see this being less than $300, and that's conservative.

ok, the stuff where you can use the touch pad on the rear instead of the analogs is pretty awesome. That could take some getting used to, but could open up ALOT for new control schemes.

Also, DS cartridges aren't flash based. They're ROM chips. Well, they've got a little bit of flash memory, which is used to store saves and stuff but that's it.

    hoping it has EPub support.

Seeing that it's the same screen size as the Sony PRS350 (I think?) and touchscreen too hopefully it'll replace my need to purchase that.

    wonder what kind of 3G?

If only one kind or one model, then it's gotta be UMTS/HSPA (AT&T, etc)

MAYBE some kind of chip that does CDMA/EVDO as well...

    I doubt multiple models.

I just realized that the back touchscreen will prevent you in cluttering the front screen with your fingers, as well as reducing smudges.

Goddamn, they actually fixed two of the iPhone's biggest problems.
