From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,

The ad-lib was pretty bad, but as a pit musician there is nothing I cannot stand more than ridiculously long vamps.

Yo. How about us peeps who played in the pit AND brass AND woodwinds at varying periods?

Also Sheri, I played the bass clarinet for a couple months in high school. And again at college. But this is true of most wind instruments that aren't flutes or double-reeds.

    Move over you phony.

    This is my turf.

I am all about hot saxings.

You can take your alto and soprano and shove them up your ass, thank you very much. You know for a fact I played tenor and bari.

    t nap - I knew I liked you for a reason.

Apparently it would take 104.76 cups of coffee to put me down. Not a terrible way to go.

itt we're bringing saxy back (yup)

naporeon, what brass did you play? I always wanted to learn the French horn, but I also realize what kind of effort would have to go into that...

Hey Sheri, you ever play the cat part from Peter and the Wolf?

I tried to do that a couple times.

My school didn't do Peter and the Wolf.

Do you mean, like, just for fun?

I remember you holding them upside down and blowing into the bell, but I don't think that's how it works.

Trust, me. They gave me a degree in this stuff.

Besides I play all four now.

My alto and the school soprano I'm using are broken and a pile of shit respectively and it makes me sad. :(

The whole octave mechanism came off my alto and just disappeared. I stuck a busted-off piece of my old glasses' frame into the hole and got the leverage back, even if it doesn't go back down when I hit G.

    Hey

    That was comedy.

Did I tell you that the clarinet professor told me at the end of last semester that I need to audition for the department and get a degree in music ed?

Thanks so much for waiting until the semester before I graduate, asshole.
