However, I have played with Penny Arcade members before across games. Redmage Darion is my brother. I was in the Sorcelators when playing Aion, under the name Pookatron.

FFXIV in-game name is Pookums Mchugeington.

I actually missed out on FF11, and feel bad about that since EQ was my thing and from what I hear anyone that was into EQ would have loved FF11.

FF14 was under my radar until I started reading about it a few weeks ago and thought to myself damn this looks pretty awesome. I love the way the armory system works and some of the old EQ features to it like mobs in newbie zones that will fucking rule you and unforgiving punishment in areas such as crayfish fishing.

I love that shit (except for the crayfish themselves - they are the enemy.)

I'm working on setting up all my macros right now so I can switch class and equip all the skills I want for them in the slots I want with one click. That is pretty badass - http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com/pl/guide/macro01.html is the direct link to that shit for anyone that hasn't looked at it yet I would recommend since it has the full list of commands

Is this one more solo friendly? The last one turned me off due to having to have a group all the time to make progress. I find the CE edition to be light. It is not quite worth what they are asking for.

I'll try out the benchmark. My computer can handle "The Last Remnant" and runs "Crysis" pretty well. So, it should take the hit.

Also, does anyone know how to update the storyline in Uldah after the Girl's Father dies? It gives no hint as to where to go to get the next storyline quest. It just sort of leaves you hanging.

I got a 1168 on the high res and 2031 on the low res. Both looked good and ran smoothly. The low res was a little smoother. On the web page, it says I would have low performance, but it really did not look like it.
