For those Ul'dah-ians how the F do I start this escort quest? I went to wait for her at the Nald Gate and nothing happens.
I think you just start walking out of the gate along the path towards Camp Black Brush and you should get a prompt not long after.
This, except the prompt happens about where the road starts after leaving Ul'dah, but off to the west a bit on top of a small hill. If you run more than 1 grid square up the road, you've missed it; go back and try again but try more west next time.

In the initial story quest, about halfway through there's an escort quest; if you start in Ul'dah you'll recognize it when you see it.
In order to initiate the escort quest, you have to walk to an ambiguously-defined invisible point on the map (described by our directions to leave Ul'dah and go slightly west of the road). It's a little confusing if you've never done it before.

Hmmm, this game is going to be difficult to learn...It just dropped me in the middle of a city with no indication of what I should do or where I go.
Also, this user interface is terrible. I'll see if using a controller is easier.
You are probably in an instance right now, the game won't let you leave until you've done whatever. If you aren't, then just check your Journal and it should explain where to go.

So since UPS is being particularly slow today, I was wondering if anyone who happens to have 2x+ graphics card and is in the game can tell me if the game supports SLI/Crossfire yet?
This game was DEFINITELY designed with a controller in mind, not Mouse + keyboard. After I switched to the controller, the UI is MUCH simpler and easier to use.

Guys. If you plan on taking the Ferry anywhere, buy a Fishing Rod first. They don't sell them on the coastal towns for some awesome reason. I want Selbina back!
If all goes well, I'll be on as April Moon in about 3 hours. Was going to start in LL, but I can go to Ul'dah instead if that makes passing pearls out easier.
Once again, I do not have a lot of time to devote to this, but I'll play when I can. Between this, Civilization V, World of Warcraft, and traveling for business, I will have zero free time left available.
