Let's see....7 way fight with 6 factions of gods vs 1 faction of mafia. And us in the middle. So, we need to try and hit the Mafia first, then try and make our respective preferred pantheon be the final winner.

As much as you would like to believe, you're not your own pantheon of gods. For Mr. Defecation's and everyone else's benefits, as noted by the day 1 opener, the pantheons to choose from are Norse, Japanese, Greek, Mayan, Hindu, and Egyptian.

I would think if you had read your villager PM, Mr. Defecation, you would not be confused as to which faction you would want to vote for.
Unless, of course, you are mafia, then it could be difficult to pick a faction under which to hide.
