    That's a shame. I don't think I've heard of anyone else getting any bugs so I think you've been really unlucky there.
    There have been quite a few reported cases of it, it has been addressed on their forums as being corrected "in an upcoming patch". Their current solution "Just load the game before you use the item". Well I did that, and I loaded even before it, and that wall just disappeared long before it should have.

    I'm just angry, I'll probably settle down eventually, but unless they release the patch to correct it (and it retroactively corrects it), then I have to start from scratch. Which means I'm going to speedrun through it. Nothing says not scary like knowing exactly when the scares will occur.

    The problem with that, I think, would be how much hard drive space would get taken up? I'm guessing that two hour chunks of video would take alot.

    Well, yes if Helloween have same thing I do:
    3min or 2min vid 4G. And I recorted the whole playtrough, but neeted to stop for editing the vids for smaller size.
    And the playtrough time was something around 8h. So something around 800-900G of the whole playtrough.

    The length is mainly due to the huge file sizes. That really does limit things. An hour most would prob be fine, but two wouldn't. Besides it's also easier for me to record in smaller bits when it comes to editing and uploading.

    You mean at the start of the game? There are only 4 rooms in the wine cellar,just check all of them.

    Okay, I had some time last night while waiting for a process to finish up while enjoying my first day working from home on a Saturday night, so I caught myself up to where I had been.

    I've currently got 12 oils, 3 laudanum, and 68 tinderboxes at the dungeon cells.

    Ah, the deadliest foe: ladders.

    I think the crackling noise when Daniel's losing it is supposed to be bones cracking or something. There was a little clip on YT before the game came where they showed how the sound designer made some of the sounds, and the "cracking bones" sound was similar to that. To my mind though, it sounds like nails scratching stone, which rapidly conjures thoughts similar to HPL's The Rats in the Walls. Which is a lot creepier than grinding teeth.

    Oh god...It's probably just me, but you make me nervous EVERY TIME you slam open a door. I always think Mr. Flappy jaw will be around the corner, hear it, then come and eat you.

    Also: You and ladders...Though, don't feel bad. I'm as bad with ladders as you are...ESPECIALLY those stupid half life 2 ladders.

    I, too, am mortal enemies with ladders. Though the worst was in the original Red Faction, when I crushed myself with an elevator. Good times.

    Nah, I'm pretty sure those are just spot sound effects. I tried splashing around after each valve but I couldn't coax it into attacking. If it's there, it's scripted very differently compared to the earlier ones.

    there's nothing there,it's just the fish splashing in the water.
