Who's been spreading thse rumours? I assassinated Brutes all the way through my first playthrough. It's not hard.

Same, the tacpad and the chest-piece you get at Major are possible add-ons, but my minamalist Spartan with the nice Air Assault helmet suits me fine.
JFO looks nice, but that's a fair bit away.
I am going to have a hard time moving away from the Air Assault. I am a big fan of it.
I thought I'd get EVA, but now I am not so sure .

Other stuff tonight:
- In my first Slayer match for the night I was two kills away from the 23 kills challenge
- Juggernaut came up for the first time and after a few minutes I started thinking about my own Juggernaut gametype and how I'd rather be playing that.
Then I got the hammer. And a Killtastrophe. So now I'm pretty sure I have all the Avatar unlocks and regular Juggernaut is A OK with me.
why does it seem like I'm kicked from 1/3 FF matches?
i forgave you for blowing me up with a rocket when i wasnt even near anything! can't you forgive me for that sniper ricochet that hit you after passing through an elite general's head?

err.... The point of matchmaking is to play online (in the wild) with a set number of people. If you go into matchmaking without the set number of people, you'll end up playing in the wild and that spot will be filled*... booting people like that is kinda lame, especially if they for whatever reason end up eating a 15 minute ban for "quitting" as a result of people that do that kinda thing. just saying.
You can do firefight outside of matchmaking too, if you only want to 3 player it iirc. Just take your players into that lobby?
edit: the matchmaking mode assumes you're trying to get a full group for that gametype, in less confusing wordage.
