I'd feel awkward around a lesbian because I'm attracted to people who break traditional gender roles AND at the same time I dislike homosexuals for not wanting to be bisexual. I also dislike heteroes for not being bisexual, but there's so many of them and it's a heavier societal construct. But other than that, yeah, it'd be cool.

    I'm strip-mining a mountain in Minecraft.

So digging out entire levels of the mountain like so

    XXXXXXXX
    XXXXXXXX
    [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
    [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
    XXXXXXXX
    XXXXXXXX
    [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]
    [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ]

Where X is a level dug completely out and [ ] is a level left intact.

I've done two levels so far. And it took over two hours.

Anything would be more entertaining than starting in on a third level at this point :P

I chopped down all the trees for wood then torched the remaining foliage.

Shoveled all the dirt off until I got to stone.

Now I'm mining stone down a layer at a time and creating an open-pit mine.

Think of the blue as walls. Move around the starting blue block, you'll find a passageway. Also you have to run over the glowing bodies to collect them.

Well I figure this way I save myself 50% of the work and can't possibly miss any deposits.

I'm kicking myself though. The two levels I dug out so far are nowhere deep enough to even realistically have iron in them let alone what I actually want (diamond). Third level I'm going to go down about 20ish more levels before I start.

That game is cool. It really really really starts getting weird with perspective and things as you go through the maze it could have some amazing implementations.

Yeah that'd be handy. I just set up a secondary base at the entrance to my stripmine and stocked some extra iron there so I basically fill my inventory up with iron picks/shovels and have been going to town.
