So help and advice... I need some.
I'll try to sum it up as best I can.
We moved into an apartment about 5 years ago (have since bought a house, so that where we are now).
Well, with the apartment came a cat. Her name is now Milly. Whoever was living there just left her, and one day she came into the apartment, and the rest is history. She is ours now. She is about 10 (best guess), and the most recent vet check showed a "normal" cat.
The problem is, she is not the nicest cat in the world. Lately (Within the past year) she has been biting us randomly. Not play bites, but sink her teeth in and draw blood. We will be petting her, and she's all thats cool, and then instantly just turn and bite. She has also taken to recently peeing outside of the litter box on random things. (there is a rug she has become quite fond of peeing on.)
She also will randomly attack our other animals when they are laying there. She hisses at everyone and everything. It is to the point that I thought about giving her away, but I wouldn't want to wish this on somebody. And putting her outside seems mean since her previous owners had her declawed.
Now, I'm not saying we are the most awesome pet parents ever, but our other cat is well behaved and sweet (we got him as a kitten) and our dog is... well a dog so I don't think it is our handling of her.
TLDR, our cat that we "adopted" sucks. What should I do?
Any suggestions on things to try or routes to take?

Many times a cat peeing outside the box means they are having control problems, sometimes due to blockage that can be very painful and uncomfortable. The cat is likely acting out because it is sick and in pain and doesn't have any other way of saying 'hey guys, somethings not right,' other than acting out. When any animal starts suddenly acting radically different you should always take it to the vet and talk to them about it.
OP, it sounds like pretty solid advice so far. There might be something internally wrong with Milly, so I'd advise you to take her to the vet to get checked out.
