Can you survive without crit chance and aspd and taking armor pen, armor, and mr/level
Yes. Just start vamp sceptre and do the creeps you can. You may have to make a trip back to pick up cloth armor and be level 3 before you start on golem/lizard camps.
Start with 2 small golems. Get bloodlust and max it out first. 1 point in spin to win at level 2, 1 point in shout at level 4, max out shout next and spin dead last.
I need a Zilean build that isn't going to get me ganked late-game.
I'm fine building my Archangel's and frozen heart, but late-game going AP seems completely pointless. Maaaaybe Aegis?
Stay at the very back, alt+e if someone looks at you funny, w whenever it's up, and Q on your teammtes. R for saves, obviously.
You can bomb enemies directly, but if you've got someone in the fray, you've got a safer bet just sticking a bomb on them, without exposing yourself to so much danger. People also often don't view a bomb on an enemy player as being quite as dangerous as one on themselves.

FUCK I completely forgot you can bomb teammates. THAT explains it.
I had a pub game with me as Galio and this Zilean dude was all like "tell me when your ult is up" and I did and he was all like bomb + speed up and "GO!". Was loads of fun when it worked.
So I hear Riot is dropping Lux because enough of us made fun of their concept art, truth?
As much as new heroes are a good thing, there's no lying that that concept art was extremely bad.
Also as a new player to the game, someone explain to me if Kayle is bad or decent or what, seems no matter where I look, I'm getting conflicting information on whether or not to play her.
After 6 or 7 crushing defeats as Tryndamere I have decided he is bad for my blood pressure, mostly because lagspikes and R don't work well together. Or because I'm terrible at him, or because my teammates keep disconnecting in games I play as Trynd (coincidence?).
Once again I'm forced to admit that Udyr is the best champion by a long way.
edit: Kayle is pretty damn good at killing people once she gets a few thousand golds worth of gear. Even if you aren't killing everyone she can still heal/speedboost/slow/paladin bubble. Seems universally useful.

Kayle is a pretty boss character, especially if you know what you're doing.
dem flame swords be meltin people son.
also if you are really good with her, you can basically 1v1 anyone and just throw your ult up and laugh @ them.
talk to nisi, she's a very good kayle from what I can remember.
Dropping Lux would be a shame. Her skills made her the first hero I wanted upon release.
My main gripe is that people seem to undervalue Karthus. I play with a large group of non-PA people who know each other well, and many of them try to dissuade me from playing him. Their contention is that he only does damage at the end of fights (or whenever Requiem is used) and Defile is used to mop up people who turn to run.
My theory is that they don't understand what they don't see. Lay Waste with a lot of AP is awesome, but too often you can't see it doing anything...the enemy just loses 25-40% of their health as they flee. Not only that, but the very nature of lay waste incentivizes me to put the mines in the brush, etc....where people won't notice them.
My teammates all look at my gaudy 20-5-15 ratio and figure I must be KSing. Vetch with me.

Tryn is lots of fun, but if you are the one to get focus down every group fight, he's basically spending 40% of the game Bing back.

You're zil. You're a target, as you can essentially revive someone and you're a general PITA. If you really want to combat it get either a GA or thornmail+banshees (if you want to be a big stick-in-the-mud and have lots of gold)

haha as an AP sion, i took a kayle on at her own tower. me and panth were harassing, and she got a little low from my eye-blast and his spear chuck. she ults to avoid death and goes for a tower hug.
I dash in with a shield on, take 2 tower hits (doesn't break my level 4 shield! whew!) and blow it up on her for a kill.
Update: We've temporarily removed Lux's abilities as we review her kit internally.

karthus is also boss, ask crownaxe and priestwithknives.
literally everytime i play with either of them, i make them go karthus.
both of them I've seen go 25-0 or some crazy shit and they are middle for the first 3-4 kills, so KSing has nothing to do with it.
A cool thing I'll notice priest do is attack someone all banzai kamakaze, disregarding his life, but just doing ludicrous damage with that wall thing and the blow up thing.
after he gets at least one or two low from the initial fight, he'll wait a second or two longer for us to do more damage in the group fight.

well..... yea
you're talkin bout sion and pants against a solo kayle.
2 annoying as fuck stuns with a guaranteed painful ability after the stun. Both of them are some of the best tower divers too.
She was also prob a bad kayle for sticking around after the ult @ no health.

Kayle's not so bad. Not nearly as effective as she was before she got nerfed and the metagame changed, but if you can keep your rageblade stacks she's pretty good.
Thanks for the replies, Kayle was on my shortlist of possible mains with Nunu out of the free to play champions to use while I learn the game. Nunu I could do ok with, but with Kayle I've noticed I've done even better lately.

There needs to be a Chadimir skin. He already has the hair for it. Add a popped collar polo and a brewski and you're good to go. U vlad bro
Edit: Lux's splash screen was revealed? Dang, is it hosted somewhere?
Hey guys this is Dac's brother speaking, posting this for him because well, he tried and now he's all curled up in a perfect ball vomiting all over the place.
There are no mediocre tryndameres. They are either unstoppable gods or terrible feeders. There really isn't an in between.
The good thing I guess is that you can tell which kind yours is going to be by how they act while laning.
We had a trynd last night who went 3/8 (those 3 kills right near the end) in 25 minutes before we surrendered. He had the most deaths on our team by far. Right before we surrendered he said "fucking noobs on my team. Feed and then surrender."
We were all "wut". You see nothing was his fault, everything was the fault of his bad team playing EZmode characters and the other team playing OP characters. You see, it was all of our faults for him dying 5 times during laning. Especially the people who weren't in his lane.
His retort? "I have 3 times as many wins as you, noob!" which was true, he had over 700 wins. But all that means was he's been playing 3 times as long as I have and STILL fed all to hell.
I find most tryndameres I've played with have this attitude (although this guy was the most delusional I've seen). I'm not sure what it is about the character that draws crazy people towards him.

Someone should inform Riot that not all women have 36 DD breasts. The Ashe screens are ridiculous.
Their official explanation is that huge boobamajugs make female characters easier to identify by giving them a more distinctive silhouette, or at least that's what one of the red posters said.

I like tryndameres... when I play singed. I just make sure to get poison on right near the end of their endless range and it's....hahaha.

I'd post the splash art they removed but fuck it, it nearly made me puke. It's that bad, and Lux was already an anime hooker in the first place.
tryndit: and by "a LOT" the underlying meaning is "too much".
