Finding the drive for school

So I can't find the drive to go to school.

My story is that I watch my daughter all day till 5pm when my wife gets home then I'm supposed to head for school till 10pm. The problem is that, even though the semester is only a month old, I don't go. I want to spend time with my wife and daughter. We are used to spending all our free time together. And because of this skipping class I missed a 15% quiz that the professor moved up to yesterday. I know its completely my fault and I'm so angry with myself but I just don't know how to fix this. I hate this whole situation, me and her working at different times. We will probably put our daughter in daycare in January but till then I need to pass these courses.

Not only that but after watching my daughter all day I'm exhausted and it's hard to listen to my professors go on till 10 at night.

So does anyone have any advice for me. Any tips that'll help me just jump out the door when I have to go or do I just need to force myself to do it.

Homer Simpson had his dream job at a bowling alley.
Then Marge got pregnant with Maggie, so he had to go back to work at the power plant.
Mr. Burns hung up a sign for him that said: Don't Forget, You are here forever.
    Homer modified the sign.
Think of your daughter's future as reason and motivation to go to school and get a good job. This will be a short, quick part of your life before moving on with your career. Do it quick and do it well so you will have the ability so support her and your family in the future.

    Meeker has got it right.

Do it for your daughter. School is hard, but think about how much better you will be able to help provide your daughter with a good life once you are finished. Besides that, you will be able to help better provide for your family as a whole, including yourself and your wife. You will all be able to see each other more once you are finished with school and have a better job. Get through it now because the sooner you finish, the sooner you will be able to have a better job. You can do it. Just believe in yourself and how much better you will feel once school is completed.

    Pretty much this.

Also, thanks for bringing back memories of when the Simpsons was actually touching.

Coffee. Fuckloads of coffee. I couldn’t have finished undergrad if there hadn’t been a Starbucks a hundred feet away.

And try to take classes you’re interested in. If you’re study stuff you don’t like enough to want to attend class, you need to ask yourself where you expect this to go in the long run. Obviously you have to suck up some lame electives unless you’re at a tiny niche school, but if you don’t even like attending important classes for your major, you might want to think about a different major entirely.
