Using a Jets employee to contact someone in the media who handles NFL related stories to broker a 'hookup' that also include photos of your peener is just fucked up. It's also pretty high school for an adult who is a highly recognizable professional athlete with an image to maintain and a married man.

A third party? The editor at Deadspin sure talks like he's been talking directly to Sterger about this. But this makes me raise an eyebrow.
The noncooperation with the NFL combined with the denial of talking to Deadspin is certainly confusing. And then the report that a lawyer told one of the massage therapists that she had no case for sexual harassment because she's a contractor? Where do you find a lawyer that stupid?
Plus being in the NFL for so long with no previous offenses like this. So is there something in the Jets organization not properly aimed at preventing this or even subtly encouraging it? Or had he done it for years in Green Bay too but no one said anything because he was still "Lord Favre" then?
That said, Favre still hasn't denied it and reportedly broke down crying while apologizing to his teammates earlier.
