Looking forward to beating the game this weekend so I can finally click on all these spoilers. I definitely have my suspicions about certain characters, though.
Oh, as for finishing the game on Paladin, does the% meter for each level include beating that level on paladin? Is paladin mode set up to be challening even if you have all your powers from your last run or is it a better idea to start a fresh paladin run? Also, how would i start a fresh paladun run?

From what I understand, doing everything in a level and beating it in Paladin mode gets you 110% completion.
You can do the stage where you originally get the crystal. It doesn't take more than a couple of minutes if you run by all the monsters (you can even completely bypass the three greater lycanthropes).
Otherwise, something like the Library is a good bet, due to the immense amount of destroyable objects. It also isn't very long.

What the hell kind of voodoo are you guys pulling to kill the titan in 90 seconds? I can just about get halfway through the nipple stabbing at 90 seconds

I actually just completed this trial with 5 seconds to spare.
The reason I was asking for a location to quickly gather Crystals is that you need a Crystal to complete this challenge.
At the start of the fight, run up to the front of the Titan and use your Crystal right away. That will knock his health down to about 20% and each rune will only require a single hit. After that its just a matter of perfecting the platforming. Use jump as much as you can when moving around on the titan.
If you fail, try not to complete the stage. If you beat the level, your Crystal will be consumed. If you instead go to World Map and reselect the level from the start, you will retain your Crystal.
End boss Trial completed and also end boss completed on Paladin difficulty. (Not at the same time. I did the trial on Squire).
I'm actually on chapter 2 for going back through on Paladin. Anyone have any tips for how to complete the 2-1 trial? Kill 30 Goblins with their own grenades? I can kill a few but I'm constantly running into 2 problems:
a) They don't throw enough grenades and I'm literally just running around in a circle waiting for them to throw.
b) When they do throw a grenade, sometimes when I press the R Trigger, Gabriel will use his chain grab on a nearby Goblin rather than bending down and picking up the 'nade.
Grab them and push the L stick a direction, hit the button once on the QTE, you'll arm the grenade on their belt and throw them aside. They run around a bit and boom.
I had this exact problem a page ago. Don't move in any direction for the grab, and a grenade will drop. Pushing a direction causes Gabriel to activate one on the Goblin's belt and then kick him to watch him scurry away and blow up.
Grabbing a goblin and throwing them while pushing a direction (so that they explode a few seconds later) DOES count as "killing them with their own grenades" which makes the trial extremely easy.

I had no idea that you were arming their grenades when grabbing them. Wow.
Chapter V, either the last stage or second-to-last. The hall with the floor spikes. No matter what I try (double-tap run, shoulder charge), I can't get across the room before the gate closes on the other side.
Am I missing something obvious?

Just finished Chapter IV. I have to stop rolling around like a maniac and pace my battles better. I'm getting through relatively unscathed (with a few notable exceptions), but it's a clumsy and ineffective way to fight.
Really digging the variety of things to do in the game. Early on, it seems like all you're going to be doing is riding big animals (and there's been a bit more of that than I would like), but now I'm whipping stuff back at enemies and breaking out titty demons and tossing daggers and naked fairies at trolls. This is definitely a slow burn of a game.
It's Super Castlevania in 3D, and I'm digging it. Feels like a return to form.

How exactly do you do this throw? Whenever I grab a goblin all Gabriel does is punch him to death.

Hit RT to grab them and then when the QTE starts hold the left stick in any direction while you hit a button when the circles meet. When you are holding the left stick it'll arm their grenade and you'll drop them and they'll wander around a sec and explode.
You have to be holding a direction on the movement stick when you hit the button that would normally trigger a kill in a QTE.

Awesome, thanks! I'm gonna go give that trial a shot.

While playing Lords of Shadow, I was inspired to look back at some of the cutscenes from Curse of Darkness. It's been a while since I played it and I don't exactly remember the details of the story.

Just beat the game an hour or two ago.
(real spoilers! Don't click if you haven't beaten it!)
I can't say I was surprised at the Gabriel-is-Dracula reveal in the epilogue, but when Zobek threw him through the window and revealed a modern city, I was like WHAAAAAAA?! So it was nice to be surprised there.
Playing Castlevania 3 off of the VC on the Wii. It looks great but I had forgotten just how hard this game is. I mean, this game is really freaking hard.

awesome, thanks
Huh. Using Dark Crystals hasn't been a concern of mine for the first playthrough. Good question.

I found a spot with seemingly infinite trolls. After I got to 70 kills I decided I should probably just leave.

Doesn't seem very necessary at all, actually. I probably went back for about 1/3rd of the stuff I missed before beating the game.
i didnt go back for anything i might of missed but i got all the easily findable stuff.
